As others have said above, GOB's shady ways are continuing. Opens the vlog admitting the clickbait stunt, so arrogant to think that 'owning' it is a free pass for being slimy.

As usual, not declaring the vlog as an ad as required by the ASA.

Straight to a hard shill for BP - some quick lip service about tough times and affordability, brushed aside swiftly by her pitch, using the disgusting "treat yourself, or someone else", "it's Christmas" justification for buying so much more crapola, that no one needs.

Then GOB acts all conflicted, sharing that she'll find it a hard vlog to do. Got me wondering if she'd had a fleeting flash of self-awareness, about the morality of pushing old toot and hope to her 'community' of trusting elderly women. Was she going to revisit and delve deeper into the topic of affordability, or even sustainability, or consumerism perhaps?

Of course not. Her dilemma was that she was filming on Thursday and was worried for her viewers that the shilled items might be sold out by Sunday when the vlog went out.

Have no doubt, she's not too proud, Jo Good is desperate enough to resort to the oldest hard sell line in the book, HURRY STOCK IS LIMITED, DON'T MISS OUT!! BUY NOW!!! She URGES us to go to the website, like it's life or death.

Too lazy to talk about the products so she tells us to look at Nadine Baggott's IG live about it. Let's hope NB's code is used for any purchases.

I find it hard to see anything beautiful about Jo Good - and I don't mean the fact that she (her words) looks like a boiled egg. It's her ugly MO and selfish approach to everything she touches that renders her ugly.

I could only bear about 3 minutes of the vlog tonight. Beauty Pie has totally lost its way imo. Used to be worth trying their stuff when it really was reasonably priced but now they have a serum for, I think, £45. The 'advent' offering costs £175 for members or a completely ridiculous £450 for non members. Also, annual membership is £59, while monthly is £10, but they're always offering a free month, so why would anyone pay? Shame on GOB - and for that matter, other vloggers, who continue to advertise BP as if it was still true to what it was when it started.

Listening back to yesterday's show GOB had some wellness podcasters on. "Hello girls" she chirps

GOB opens by mentioning some sort of diet supplement, from a "wonderful woman" first pretending to forget the name of the product, but then recalls it. The "girls" both chime in to confirm the name and enthusiastically repeat it. GOB gives further backstory about the product, acting as if she half remembers the interesting anecdote press release. I call that this is all an act and she will soon be floggin' it on her vlog.

The podcasters have arranged for GOB to test hyperbaric oxygen therapy for her asthma. They are sending her for two sessions to some place that has a first class feel where she can watch a movie during the treatment for 60 to 90 minutes. Of course GOB is revelling in the attention and freebies, said she wants to take her recording kit into the chamber but was told you can't take any metals in. She will milk it for all it's worth, saying she will be talking about it a great deal.

This shady old bag is using her radio show to benefit no one except herself.

Also, I caught a brief snippet last week of one of the radio shows when she said she has 9 points on her drivers licence.

Freyja Barker, the Fenwick's beauty consultant is in the show. MAM waits until last minute to announce her feature and then complains that too many people get in touch with questions - "I knew this would happen". She should have given listeners more notice.

She says she has never heard of Bastille! Any disc jockey who worked in the 2010s will know Bastille! They are a very famous band. Why are they on her playlist if MAM hasn't heard of them? 🤔

GOB is not doing her radio show this week, when she announced this she made a point to say it's because she has so much other work on. Trolling our thread title?

I listened back to a bit of Carrie Grant on Monday's show. Regular caller Peter from West Hampstead called in, spoke about his heating being unaffordable so he's staying in his kitchen keeping warm with the gas and elec from the cooker. He mentioned he is unhappy with his housing association, saying his boiler is not modern and, strangely, that the basement has boilers that are always on but it is bricked closed. I am not sure what he means by that but it sounds like it could be unsafe. I was surprised that Carrie gave him some generic sympathy about the cost of utilities and moved his call on. Why did she not advise him to contact his housing association to persue the matter further on safety grounds.

I feel rather ambivalent about vulnerable people calling up...seemingly seeking advice. On the one hand, it is nice that they have someone to talk to and a show that they can join in and it would be great to offer adivce if Carrie Grant was qualified to advise. She isn't though, she is just a broadcaster. It is the same with Dotun Adebayo's night time show, so many people call that I feel really need professional advice and some use the phone ins as a form of therapy, it seems. It is awful and appalling that in England, people can't afford to heat their homes.

I sound as though I am Carrie Grant's personal defender. She really isn't qualified to offer advice, she is probably worth in excess of 100 million pounds and does not need to think twice about putting the heating on. Atleast she offered sympathy mind. MAM wouldn't care less and would revert the topic back to her.

Whenever Carrie Grant does chewing the fat, she has a guest on called Andrè and it really irritates me the way she says his name in a false American accent. I will say one thing for MAM, she is good at hosting that section, she can really get the debate started and Carrie and Claira seem to be lacklustre on that topic.

She always used to do that with the skincare and other consultants when they were on. Then there was hardly any time for calls as Jo asked questions about her own skincare etc routines. Frustrating. Similarly with the informative dentist who used to be on.

There is hardly anything like this on Radio London now - a very narrowing focus of the same news 'updates'.

Nothing much to comment on. She has a new dress. New Clergeries, which they gave her. Plus a nice jumper gifted to her via Christina Elms from a Scottish independent. Hair cut. Some lung treatment in a clinic, told her she needed 40 treatments, it was gifted. No Dave 🎉 Cooking for a dinner party. Not Hello Fresh. Only uses them when paid to I think. Speed Awareness Course. Some self pity before taking it, but at the end it made her reflect on her careless driving. Lots of joy about not having to do her show. Might not have to for much longer!
