Jessie Cave #3 Can't successfully end a project, or a toxic relationship

I had no idea what this was. Went down a rabbit hole for wayyyyy too long looking at a website 🤣
It's just an overpriced holiday village, lots of activities for the kids but they are pricey! I'd recommend looking up the "honest reviews" on tiktok or reels for a genuine sense of what it's like there. There's a bunch of locations down south which would probably be nearer to them but they seem to prefer travelling way up north and going to Whinfell Forest, Penrith. Naturally they stopped off in Liverpool along the way ... They are creatures of habit!!

especially as "the depressing family trip to Centre Parcs" is a key feature of Alfie's latest show https://www.12ft.io/https://www.the...-tonic-at-the-caves-edinburgh-cancelled-comic

doing a bit of digging on the second book, "Broken Half", she finished the first draft a year ago and some websites have the date it was published at 25/04/2024 ... there's been no cover reveal yet but it's still available on Amazon to preorder with an expected date of publication of June 2026! I'm starting to wonder whether the book has been shelved?? She originally signed a two book deal back in 2022 https://www.thebookseller.com/rights/cave-moves-to-orion-fiction-in-two-book-deal

Other websites have the expected publication date as June next year, https://www.whsmith.co.uk/Product/Jessie-Cave/Broken-Half/11913248
I'm wondering whether the publication date automatically gets pushed back by a year (or two) if the book isn't published on its initial release date and there's no known date publication?? It does low-key irk me that it's still available to pre-order when there's no confirmation when/if it'll be printed.

resisting the urge to reply to Jessie's story by saying that her and her children and her children's children (and maybe even their children?) will be long dead by the time those nappies decompose in landfill 😭 (takes up to 500 years)

The first public episode starts with Jessie nitpicking at Bebe, start as you mean to go on I guess 😅

The latter half of the second episode includes such tidbits as "all men have affairs eventually" / "Alfie is an excellent liar" / "men can't have female friends" (and then Jessie realising that all her friends are actually male) / finishes with Jessie coming in to say that they had to end the podcast early due to an altercation 😆

btw their patreon is £5 monthly and £3 per episode!! that's waaay more expensive than any patreon I've ever subscribed to!

in the second episode Jessie reveals that she consciously tried to not move her face while giving birth to Donnie because "she didn't want to birth to age her" 😳

She didn’t 🤣

There’s neurotic, and there’s THAT. How do you even develop a mindset like that?

God, what kind of mother must she be, if she’s that bonkers? I’m genuinely quite disturbed.
