Jessie Cave #3 Can't successfully end a project, or a toxic relationship

they're currently in a one bedroom flat, Alfie's on a sofa bed in the living room
Yeah, but it’s probably in the centre of London. And what’s the bet they own it.

I really think the only thing that'll make her ditch him permanently is either meeting someone who surpasses Alfie in every which makes her see the light or Alfie gets someone else pregnant. And I hope that doesn't happen because that'd be deplorably cruel to Jessie and the kids.
honestly he will probably go on tour and sleep with some fan girl and get her pregnant.

It's quite nuts to buy a house and move the entire family across the country when you literally just did an Edinburgh show about how you'll definitely break up again in the future...

No they're renting the one-bed flat in London. Interesting how, for a poor family, cramming four under ten and two adults into a one-bed would be a matter for social services, whereas for an upper-middle class family, it's "quaint" and "unconventional". 🥴

I’ve never been there but I wonder if their house is in the city or out in the country? Or in some kind of suburb? I have no idea what the layout is like 😆. But they seem to be used to living in the city and being able to walk most places/be in the center of things. Wonder if they’ll get a car.

I think the house is in Huyton which is like a suburb of Liverpool, about a half an hour drive to the city centre, Alfie drives and has a car, on the podcast I was listening to he was talking about buying a "sensible people carrier", there's also train links to the centre for Jessie who doesn't drive. I wonder if Alfie and Jessie will still have separate bedrooms / whether part of the deal is they'll have another baby / whether the spare room is for guests / Jessie's mum. A 7-bed house seems like a lot of upkeep... Also will they send the kids to private school, as both Jessie and Alfie were privately educated.

I can’t imagine her mum leaving her life and home behind in London just to be her daughter’s home help in Liverpool. It’s just a bizarre decision all around. Purely chosen to get a big house relatively cheap?

there's no WAY they could afford a house of a reasonable size in London! apparently Alfie's had his eyes set on Liverpool for years and has slowly persuaded Jessie to make the move
