We are actually trade-partners with the EU - that's what the trade-deal was all about, they are not strangers and there never was a "cliff-edge."

My point is that people talk in very binary terms - If we are in the EU we are all friends, otherwise we are hostile enemies. The Brexit vote was 6 years ago - we need to start thinking beyond that now, we're never going back - the past is in the past.
