Such a liberal Catholic he had shares in abortion pills, but that was 5 years ago so it's alright....
It's still possible to move to an EU country if you want to, you know - where there's a will and all that..Yes. He's an absolute self serving bleep who was so pro Brexit because it makes him and his cronies richer. He is an abhorrence to humanity, I absolutely bleeping hate him. He's a bleep, did I already say that?

Just going to leave these here for you Jakey boy
Jacob Rees-Mogg Said Unicef 'Should Be Ashamed Of Itself' For Giving Food To Kids In The UK
The Leader of the House of Commons said Unicef, the UN agency responsible for providing aid to children, should be 'ashamed of itself' for helping ...www.politicshome.com
I think JRM could do with having a long chat with his Parish Priest about the teachings of the Catholic Church as he seems to be doing the complete opposite whilst he is at work.
Good convent girl meSuch a proliferation of Catholic theologians, all of a sudden. We are truly blessed!
So you'll know all about the man that is without sin casting the first stone then?Good convent girl me
Of course. So you'll know all about the man that is without sin casting the first stone then?
You forgot about, "Judge not, that ye may not be judged."Of course.
Along with "The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern." That's from the Book of Proverbs btw
Is that Tattles new sloganYou forgot about, "Judge not, that ye may not be judged."
Was waiting for that oneYou forgot about, "Judge not, that ye may not be judged."
If you're going to start referring to the interpretations of oddballs like Joseph Smith, then yes we may as well leave it there! The only people we can trust are the Church Fathers - because that's where the Bible came from. Was waiting for that one
That's actually one of the most frequently debated quotes from the New Testament as it doesn't actually mean what it says.
You need to read the whole of that chapter of Matthew to understand what Jesus meant by what he said. But considering this is a Jacob Rees-Mogg thread and not the Jesus Rees-Mogg thread, may I suggest we leave the Bible off there? (Not wanting to moderate btw)
I will stick to what I said, JRM cannot and should not be championed as being a good Catholic MP when he clearly is not.
If you're going to start referring to the interpretations of oddballs like Joseph Smith, then yes we may as well leave it there! The only people we can trust are the Church Fathers - because that's where the Bible came from.
Here endeth the first lesson.

Ha! Well we've been through the Pro-life stuff already on this thread, so I'm not going to revisit it. Feel free to look back through the past messages if you wish. You don't need to be a theologian (although I am), to be stunned by the hypocrisy of a Catholic, whose very faith is based on all human life being sacred, having shares in an abortion drug.
Sorry @monga I've stopped now.Jeez I feel like I need to say an Act of Contrition before I come on this thread
I share your sentiment but can we please stop peddling the dangerous lie that the morning after pill is an abortificant. It can take up to 6 days after sex for sperm and egg to join and form a fertilised egg then 3-4 days to implant. No abortion takes place from taking the morning after pill, a woman is just preventing a pregnancy from starting. You don't need to be a theologian (although I am), to be stunned by the hypocrisy of a Catholic, whose very faith is based on all human life being sacred, having shares in an abortion drug.
