Fraus, this afternoon after doing some sewing I've been reading nigella's 'how to eat' as I find it incredibly comforting. Her writing is lovely, the recipes are great and it all sounds so appetising. It's a lovely way to spend a bit of time on an autumnal Sunday. I couldn't imagine doing the same with one of Jack's books.

Do you accept payment in second-hand Cotswold Co. furniture? One careful owner, and sanitised of course. 💅

Trying desperately to erase the image in my mind of her running after setting up the self timer on one of her many phones, jumping on a sideboard and taking what she believes to be a thot shot in manky clothes and a reverse rats tail.

It reeks of desperation.

I know @instacharlie already touched on this but wow... "I've got a tech guy on it" actually sounded professional (and what you would expect from a 'bestselling food writer') but was actually just Jack sitting on the fancy blue sofa in her pjs clicking random buttons trying to fix the website and badgering some poor guy for tips. Just goes to show that you must take two heaped tablespoons of salt with every single sentence she ever splats out on the ole hand sausages

Thank you for the baton. Is it a nice crusty baguette?

I did make bread during lockdown but in the conventional manner. Worked off a lot of anger in the kneading.

It still turned out like a breeze block and the ever supportive Mr F suggested that we stick with the nice bread from the local Polish shop. If only for the sake of his fragile fillings.

To my surprise, I've delayed the 300 photos I took of bread this winter 😆 great crust, great crumb, and I always made big round loaves

Just finished that Talking Tastebuds podcast (I could only do a few minutes at a time yesterday she was bleeping me off so much, but I knew I had to eventually listen to it to the end for the greater good - please do not question my commitment to sparkle motion the canal) and the last question is about Jack's choice for her last supper. Her answer? She wants to eat herself, because she thinks she'd taste really good.
If, as the saying goes 'you are what you eat'
I wouldn't bleeping bother👍🏼

This is the Standard piece on EU Referendum night at the Groucho - it mentions Jack and Jude Law (and others).
