I did a 12 day's of Jackmas back in 2021. Like guest, I'm unoriginal and rehashing past material because I'm lazy innit.

Anyway so pronounced "mither ", dear mithering Ninnies (please check picture for pronounciation of "Ninny".
I do love a Ninny x (not a Nunny, that is an entirely different thing around here). It's not my nunny it's my chubby lil thighs lads x

Oh - I totally concur.

It's definitely "mither", and not "mither" or "mither". I was just trying to explain the daft ideas some people had about how to pronounce it. Beyond belief, some of them. I blame Southerners trying to pronounce Northern words. It isn't their fault. They don't know any better.

Also, agree that "ninny" is pronounced "ninny", and not "ha'penny" "nunny" (Which is a new one on me and I thought I'd heard them all what your "nunny" might be called if you lived here)

Is your ha'penny what you're advised to keep your hand on when you go out dear ❤?
I tend to keep a lady garden, and Mr FF is strongly advised to keep his Gentleman's Vegetables at a decent distance for fear of vile behaviour x
