I do too. Her language around it is completely fake.

She’s got a habit of deleting tweets, all she’s done is saved herself the bother by setting up an auto-delete rule. She then gets to ride the high of pretending the app is conspiring against her whilst ostensibly hiding her appalling behaviour (it’s all saved on tattle, pal).

It couldn’t be more guest-like behaviour if it tried.

If her tweets were actually being deleted not by her she would be making a much bigger deal of ALL THE GOOD THAT SHE DOES being silenced, probably blame the tories and tag Elon Mate for good measure.

Still grunking madly but wanted to add huge amounts of empathy. My therapist has taught me to "postpone" purchases, even if just for a day. See how you feel in an hour, a day, a week. It helps soothe my Spend Panic.

Agree. After the horrible Sun recorded his apology to a lady whose name he had misspelled in a letter of condolence following the death of her son in Afghanistan, I dropped him an email saying try not to worry about it, you did a kind thing and many people think the same as I do. Didn't think anything more of it. A few weeks later I got the loveliest letter back, thanking me for my kindness and support, saying he knew how it felt to lose a child and had just wanted to reach out to a grieving parent. I was hugely touched.
yes absolutely. I have been putting things in my cart and then leaving the site. It makes me feel sort of secure that they're in the cart so I haven't "lost" them.inevitably next time I open the cart I'm like "what the hell is that, eww" and can happily remove it. It's really incredible how much the spur of the moment I need that thing feeling is just a fleeting thing, and even a day or two will make it go away.

Or conversely if you do still want to buy it then you know it's a considered purchase.

Also, if you put stuff in your online basket and nearly but not quite complete the purchase, you often get emailed a discount code. And if you don't, you can generally just leave it there until you make your mind up.

Yes!! I got 20% off a new pillow by doing this (by mistake). My pillows are all about 15 years old and I did a huge amount of research on getting a new one. :loser:

Some of us follow over here, if it’s of use to anyone.

can i recommend a website/app called "You need a budget"? I had similar spending issues and anxieties to other Frauen and the YNAB approach has helped me feel more in control of my money without feeling restrictive. Might not work for everyone but i wanted to share a tool i found helpful

On topic - You Need A Budget (the app) would also help Guest to manage her dwindling patreon income. It won't help her stop defrauding people though.

Re: The Great Hackening. Why would a hacker who has plainly stated that he wants to expose your grift gain access to your accounts and then do you a massive favour by showing you in a better light, for instance by hiding the number of your moronic supporters Patrons and deleting all of your tweets which made you look an utter twit? 🤔

we bought new pillows last year - OMG, they're life changing.
when i get home from work i'll share the name of them. we got them from john lewis last year; they're low and firm. One side has a cooling pad.
the original price of them was a whopping £260 EACH, but they were reduced to £130 each then £65 each just before christmas! even at £65 i think i shuddered a wee bit, but given the original price i convinced myself they'd be worth it. they are.

ETA: this is the ones we got; Technogel Pixel Deluxe Low Profile Gel Support Pillow, Medium/Firm (johnlewis.com)

I get loads of emails from school about the dangers of vaping for children. Once again it just made her look like a tit parent.

The simmering shots always remind me how confused I was that when I first followed her on Instagram, how many posts of her included her flashing her boobs, and all the other food people I follow, don’t.

Jess Phillips made a similar throwaway comment on a recent HIGNFY ep. Both come across as totally insincere imo and read as attempts to make them seem more working class/ 'relatable'. I can imagine both kids seeing it on TV and being like "wtf? I don't even vape?" or, even if it is true, the white hot embarrassment/confusion of "she's never said anything like this to me?". Like to them "my kid vapes, what's he like " is a weird status signal and in reality has nothing to do with whether or not their kid actually vapes (or their overall wellbeing, as per).

I also think someone like White Dee would get a very different cultural response if she made a passing comment about one of her teens cadging cigs off her behind her back, but she wouldn't (at least not in the same context as JM and JP - how often are the likes of White Dee invited onto QT and HIGNFY? I know she had her moment and I thought she might have been on QT at one point but I've just had a quick google and couldn't find anything) because what would it gain her beyond everyone calling her and her kids scum? Even though w/c and m/c kids have been finding ways to get hold of cigs and booze for as long as cigs and booze has existed! Not that that is okay, it's just the reality of parenting.

I cant get over the fact its only been 4 years since something simmered. It feels like last week, but also like 15 years ago at the same time.

all timeframes are interchangeable

Dee was on some kind of channel 4 "debate"programme about benefits iirc, it was a bit like a QT style panel with an audience and some head host (Richard Bacon?) trying to kilroy-silk his way through the show by nodding a lot and making sure no one actually had a debate. I believe Dee was in the audience ( and very much objected to the White Dee name)

ETA I can't believe I remembered it was bacon. I cant remember important things that happened last week. https://www.12ft.io/https://www.the...17/benefits-britain-the-live-debate-live-blog

ETA 2 its interesting to look at some of these comments in the light of guest. and her commitment to being the deserving poor.

Sorry if that sounded like I was correcting you dear ❤ - didn't mean it that way. I just seem to recall her saying "just Dee please" but obv the show & the media kept the White part going

In an interesting squaring the circle way Hatie Kopkins was also involved from the first episode

Shows how much the channel cares, making Dee sit next to that woman

I might get bored in a bit, go see what the archives of guest.'s tweets had to say that day if anything remains

ETA not really but then again she didn't have a TV of course. Nothing much has changed in these 10 years. Still just learning to be happy. Still making weird food combinations. Still inventing things her kid said. Still thinking the guardian is left wing
