In defence of the “quarterhack” no, really…

of course her 5+ quarters of lists is stoopid however I once did write a list of all food in the house, down to 5x Linda’s bangers, 2x Beanburgers etc you know why? I was broke, between jobs. Stony broke, skint, sold old jewellery, ebayed everything spare. I was buying bread and essentials with nectar points, so It did help for that awful month.

So if for example you were a spendthrift freelancer with a shopping addiction, I could see how every few months when you’d screwed your finances (again) you might panic and need to write down all that you have because you don’t have the £££ to shop much.
 
I still can't find the handwritten stocktake picture but this also made me laugh. Has Bootsrap Chef ever been thread title?

Luckily the supporters cash goes straight to Mind, but charity or not I’d be peeved if I donated for someone to carry out a marathon and they didn’t even enter it.

Her track record of proclaiming a Big New Thing for charidee and then not following through is way bigger than her track record of actually following through on initiatives. It really does reduce my sympathy for anyone who donated to Sue Lee.
