No doubt she'll love me for saying this, but has she duck ever been anywhere near a size 16.

I'm a size 16, and at least 7" taller than Jack depending whether she's measuring herself in pixies or midgets today, and her proportions have never anywhere close to mine. And she'd look chunkier than I do with my measurements on account of her notoriously dinky little miniature frame.

I don't get how she was always going to the pub by herself with NO CHILDCARE and NO MONEY doing 120 HOUR WEEKS either. It's almost like she had loads of free time/ spare cash after all

turns out this was another "big things coming soon" that never materialised. Two calls for contributions and one recipe and about eight here's my tip jars. I don't get it. All these shops and domain names aren't free. She's wasting enough every year to run about 100 lightbulbs, and it's just more evidence of over promising and never delivering.

If I'd had 50 grand nicked by my agent I would want the press/media to cover it to put pressure on the agent and to warn other clients that that what. was they were up to. And/orr I'd get a forensic accountant/lawyer involved. She did have a pro bono lawyer didn't she?

You are entirely correct, tenderstem. In retrospect I did like them quite a lot - the cut wasn't the sort of traaaaazer that I usually wear, but I think I would have gotten used to it in time. And the price was quite reasonable too. I'll just have to keep looking in every puddle that I walk by....

Yup. It would've been a major scandal. And would've been covered in the press, not least because lots of journos are also authors and lots of authors write occasionally for newspapers. Plus there are whole organisations that represent writers (Royal Society for Literature, the Writers' Guild etc) and campaign around issues like author pay, royalties etc.

If it had been true, it would've brought her agency into the spotlight and potentially finished them off.

Instead, none of that happened. Almost as if nobody thought Jack was telling the truth about that situation.

She’s been stocktaking and QUARTERHACKING for almost a decade. The fourth category has been through several iterations, going all the way back to 2014. Back then, SNACKS weren’t FLAVOURS they were STORECUPBOARD. They’ve also been SUNDRIES.
