Guest probably counts rearranging her books to be shelved by spine colour and buying, I mean finding in a puddle, a massive desk as the kind of building-up work that you have done.

She reminds me of people I've encountered who've decided to fulfill their true destiny as a writer. They go out and buy all the fancy pens and notebooks, and then sit down and discover that writing well is really hard work. The world is not waiting with bated breath for mitherings about moths and woolen suns surrounded by chickens, and it certainly isn't going to pay to read them either.

And for most of those people - not Guest- the excuse of "they just don't understand my brilliance " stops working after a while.

No serious writer organises their books by colour. If organised at all, rather than various eccentric piles of to-be-read-someday volumes, it will be a deeply personal coding method that uses some variation of alphabetical order with bespoke sub-categories, depending on interests or current writing projects.

Evening Ninnies - am mini grunking as not well today with an infection and it’s irritated everything so flaring a bit too. Was gonna watch the DKL videos today but I’ve been struggling to stay awake - slept for like 5 hours today and feeling dozy again now! Send cash-os, sympthieos and laughos please.

Will slowly, painstakingly, carefully, delicately, sensibly, keep grunking best I can behind the scenes, and hope I’m not missing a real live chaos!
