Ah yes, sold her “Ford Kia”, Jack’s car that didn’t actually exist as a make and model.
Decided not to drive as a teenager, bullied into lessons she HATED and stopped because “the novelty wore off” and talks about “friends who possess motorised vehicles” (which strongly suggests she does not herself possess a “motorised vehicle”).
So let me get this right. She wasn’t eligible for the role of Macebearer because it entails driving all over the county instead of catching a bus and carrying a frigging heavy mace.
But she was offered a community fire safety job which entails… driving all over the county instead of catching a bus carrying a frigging heavy rucksack of fire alarms, educational materials and safety devices.
I would have imagined that most if not all of these community fire safety jobs, such as the one below, require a driving licence as part of the essential criteria, especially in counties such as Essex and Hampshire which have huge swathes of countryside where buses run a couple of times per week if you’re lucky. https://hants.sharepoint.com/sites/...=/sites/IBCS8679/Shared Documents&p=true&ga=1
