“I was a young mother with a dependent.” She went into debt. “I went from nice flat and fire service job to cold and hungry with a child.

I lived rough for two years, with six months relying on the food bank.”

“I’ve had people pull me back from the railroad track,” she says. “I’ve had people hold my hand and give me a cuppa — and a biscuit.”

Hold on this is a new development. She LIVED ROUGH for TWO YEARS?! WITH HER CHILD?! Now excuse me if I'm being thick but to me living rough means homeless is that not correct? Since when Jack?!

Someone may need to hold me back because she is seriously triggering me now with this bullshit. Her family must be appalled at her coming out with this tit too.

Not true. A B&B would have been available at the very least. And Social Services involvement would have ensured that there wasn't a child sleeping on the street.

+1 This bulshit is never called out, it is overlooked by her sycophantic followers. And when it is questioned said sycophants shout them down with real threats of violence, as was witnessed on the DKL BT tweet scandal.

Sleeping rough is more than just being homeless, it is being roofless. Sleeping outside.

Just one word to describe her.........TERRIBLE.

Exactly what I thought. Having been street homeless myself for a period of time, I know there is no way she would have left in that situation when she had a child. Not to mention the fact that the father of her child would simply not have allowed this to happen.

She's disgusting the absolute pure bullshit she spews out.

Oh FFS, this type of tit drives me mad. I was a kid in the 80s. We were always told 'wear what you want, play with what you want'. There wasn't half as much of this pink and princess shite for girls around. Boys weren't routinely clothed head to toe in fatigue. As childhood photos attest to, we were all in jeans or cords, stripy t-shirts, plain t-shirts, t-shirts with cartoon characters on them. Sometimes girls would be in denim or jersey skirts. It would have occurred to no one that if you liked climbing trees you were actually a boy whatever genitalia you had.

I mean, wow, a woman with a skateboard! And the skateboard had a shark on it!

Did this never happen?

80s kid here too, and I totally agree.

She herself is so tied into that whole pinkyblue gender stereotype, it's ridiculous. For someone who claims to be such a feminist/non binary/whatever, you'd think she would have more awareness about it.
