I've just been thinking perhaps SB has had a little bit of a meltdown about going back to school after everything and she's hopefully just chilling with him all weekend.

My eldest son has been a bit wobbly. So we have been doing lots of hanging out whilst I've been stealing time on here during cooking, in between him playing computer games with his brother and him going upstairs to play with said brother were girls are not allowed apparently. 😂

Yes I was thinking the same (After the event as per usual should have trusted my gut instinct!)
It was a crafty piece of work that! She built it up slowly by using the kind of lovable if eccentric but weird round the edges nerdy stereotype (girl called jack just can't help it!) She's Kooky!
With hindsight who introduces someone with that level of detail or characterisation? It's not as if we didn't already have a pretty good idea about jack!
It's almost as if they wanted to set up a very specific profile/narrative one that quelle surprise only confirmed jack's version of reality !

I have to laugh really why would a taxi driver give a tit or even notice if you were actually Autistic or not!
Also who says things like that about a former client/customer anyway it's none of their business!
My dad works part time as a taxi driver the only time he gave out any information about people is when he picked up Bob Mortimer and that was only to complain that he was a rude git!
So apart from a bit of mild bitching about drunks or people being funny about paying their fares (the usual gripes) he never gives out any details!
Poor jack thinks she is so note worthy that people just have to sit up and take notice!
She is etched in their brains forever more complete with medical diagnosis :D !
(Your post made these points much better than me but looking back I can't help but laugh at how ludicrous it was all was!)
