Great tip to use mayo on sandwiches, though. I'd never have thought of that.

Given that ITV have rudely decided not to put the whole of the new series of Unforgotten on in one go, I am getting my Nicola fix by working through the other series on Netflix.

However cable, I am floored. Floored I tell you. UNDERSTAND IT.

Within the first 25 minutes of S1E1 there is a drone scene and many local camera shots from Southend, Essex. Now my time will be spent searching for

a) smol pixie
b) crappy bungalow
c) Cooper

do people put butter on cheese on toast? Ibe never really felt it needs another layer of grease but willing to hear if others do this and it adds something!

No but when Gizzi Erskine did her Hellmann's collab she suggested putting mayo on the outer bits of the bread (ie not the filling) which turns the toast lovely and crispy. I don't do toasties any other way now.

Do you mean @crystaleyesd ? Haven't seen her around in a while, but I believe she is working away now! I miss her insights on crisps, Soviet aesthetics and insane holes in the ground. Hope she's ok!

I read that as beans on toast - and I do then. Not with cheese on its own. Some people butter the outside to get extra toasty.
