On a grunk as per but my mum used to "affectionately" call me jail bait, and chocolate brownie I look like my dad so I was hated on that basis. But then she realised
she could make money off of me via letting me be abused. She always told me I was frequently told the only thing I was good for was what was between my legs
to this day she acts like the fact she raised us kids is a debt we need to pay back.

Dare I say I think I'd have rather had Jack as a mum 😳

On topic, regarding Jack's kitchen. She's completely ruined it. Such potential, wasted. I don't even know where to begin with that.

I am so sorry to hear that.
Thats the worst thing any child can go through.
How terrible for you to have such an abusive parent (who should have protected you).
Sometimes words are not enough to convey feelings but i really hope that you can heal from that awful experience and that with time the scars fade a little.
Thinking of you and wishing you all the best after such a horrendous ordeal ❤

Not surprised but still shocking to know that the disease is not only a local but a gloval one as two sightings were made outside the UK today.
My heart is breaking, sorry for sensitive viewers, the first one is more disturbing although the second one is not any less awful.
Thoughts and prayers.

This is infuriating.

Someone else is kind enough to spend hundreds of pounds on an expensive piece of kitchen kit for you and you treat it like a play thing, doing a botched paint job on it. But you admit you would do no such thing and would take extra special care of it had you had spent your own precious cash.

Appalling attitude.

ETA I read your mind, @Scarletfever!

not as such but if it was eating into an overdraft that could impact if unauthorised. Also some banks charge for bounced direct debits.
A local one person landlady wouldn’t have the facility to report to credit reference agencies so that wouldn’t impact.... unless she was to go down the route of county court judgements...
£25 - 50 squid for bounced direct debit

A few notes from her interview:

  • During The Poverty she had a spreadsheet, which means she had a computer. Contradicting her claim she wrote her newspaper columns and first book on an old Nokia phone.
  • She says her benefits were "often" delayed, short or suspended. We know she delayed claiming benefits, and spent part of the year after quitting the fire service actually employed. She wasn't on benefits for long enough for her to say "often".
  • She pleads poverty when the interviewer notes that her circumstances are not the same. By saying writers don't get paid that much, she is lying by omission about her many and varied lucrative sources of income. Sure writers don't get paid much, but TV presenters and influencers certainly do.
  • Saying "she gets paid a living wage", she is lying by suggesting that someone else pays her a salary. She pays herself a living wage and saves or spunks the rest.
  • She is trashing her entire shtick about buying own brand. The way she speaks it's as if buying the value brand is a misery and flavourless compared to branded goods.
  • Then when asked for tips on food budgeting, she says buy cheaper brands, except for when you can, buy the best quality you can afford. Also, she makes an except for Del Monte, of course.
  • The article is devoid of useful tips. When asked how to save, her main tip is to be kind to yourself if you don't have savings. With a little aside of how the instability of her life in poverty has make her appreciate her current tiny, meagre savings pot.

I'm sorry, what? What magic Nokia phone is Jack alleging to have that would have enough space to hold text for a BOOK? And how is she alleging she got it off the phone?

Wow. This is beyond.

Hold on, is she saying she spray painted the kitchenaid due to it being a gift, and that she'd treat it like a child if she had bought it herself?

Ungrateful narcissistic bleep.

Oh, I get you completely. I paid for Mr D's fancy laptop because it was cheaper than taking out credit and I saw he had put a bleeping Scooby-Doo sticker beside the touchpad. I'd agreed to pay for half of it overall, but he hadn't even paid one bit of it at that point. I was seriously pissed off 'At least pay your half of it before making it look like it belongs to a 14 year old'.

He also put a sticker on my bass guitar when he used it for a gig because 'it looked too perfect, it could have been brand new when it's years old'. Well, yes, that's the point - I bleeping look after my stuff.

It was very hastily removed and the stickiness cleaned off when I returned it straight back to him.

She claims that she wrote her first book by email. So writing it bit by bit and sending it to her publishers. This contradicts her other stories about how she wrote the book. I think she claimed she turned up to her publishers holding a greasy notebook.

Edit: I meant she says she wrote the book by email on her Nokia.

No clue. Only going on what I've been told.
I've been very vocal about her abusing the Furlough system.
I work for an organisation that helps young people into work and I work a lot with LA and Job Centre. They've employed hundreds of thousands of new staff to process new claims. Once they've got the wheels in motion, I've been told that the majority of those new staff will go to their Fraud department (they call it 'compliance')
They continually check SM. People I've spoken to from the Job Centre are very interested in what she's doing.
Also, if anyone wants to, you can report any individual to DWP fraud via their website. Same with HMRC.
She reckons she’s paying Caroline Whohashands out of her own money for the furlough, coz due to her late filing of taxes the employees of Bootstrap ltd were not eligible. Not sure exactly how that works in relation to -payslips, National Insurance contributions (employer and employee) tax.
She also reckons Paetron pays all of Caroline’s wages and a third of hers
She also saves money by buying 29p beans unlike the idiots who pay 77p HA BUT SHE PAYS 99p for pineapple rings instead of 75p and that is why she has a Kitchen Aid and you don’t

(Kandi the lies gif/make it make sense etc)

Why is Jack trying to test everything in one day? Why the stress and rush? Should have been done months ago, babe, one recipe a day. I worry about the quality control of the testing process if everything is whipped up in a frantic hurry, in a game of “oven Tetris”.
And...teeeeeesting?? The bird is teeeeesting?
Did I miss a receipt that she has overcome long covid and got her sense of taste back?
Wow!

Lies.
She also has said that her Patreon pays for Caroline (and her hands!!)
She uses the term 'furloughed' a lot but it isn't true.
Sorry to be boring and repeat myself...You can only claim back the Furlough if you are still paying staff wages and staff cannot work because of Covid.
Caroline (with or without hands) can still work. Jack's business has increased since covid. She has profited because of Covid.
Caroline and her hands can still work.
Jack has put in a claim to get back the 85% Furlough. She isn't entitled to do this and therefore is committing benefit fraud. Even if she is turned down for the reimbursement, she still made a fraudulent claim.
Like I said, 'compliance' are tit hot on stuff like this.

I thought it was written on an old Nokia? I would claim origin story truther but that's forever going to be an unsolved mystery

Except for the times when she recounts the story and didn't claim benefits because 'mummy works'. I think that one gets trotted out for more right-wing sources.

I vaguely remember following Jack back in the poverty days. I think when she wrote the viral Hunger Hurts post, she'd had a long benefit delay, but soon after that was taken on by the local rag as a journalist, and then started getting a lot more exposure in the Guardian etc. So the window of her claiming benefits must have been pretty short.
