Yep - absolutely certain she does that. Most small businesses do. And they claim the vat back if they can. However i don’t think Jack is organised enough to do VAT returns. Her taxes will be quite complex and hard to do because she’s so disorganized, Patreon is taxable, bet she doesn’t know that.... Kickstarter probably is too, especially if people are paying for an eventual product. Soon as she puts a foot wrong, or HMRC get wind of her, she will be up to her ears in an investigation. Then of course she will go bankrupt to avoid paying. Amazed she hasn’t gone bankrupt already considering how bad her finances are, but then that’s probably something her inner Tory can’t abide, like taking benefits.

Surely though actually austic disabled Jack (in her own words) would be eligible for disabilty living allowance or personal independence payments?
My sons have claimed that (in full time education) but then again they really are actually autistic?

My mum blamed me being born for her her smoking! Apparently I was “a difficult baby” She says it in a “joking “ way. Took me years to realise how horrible it was.

On a grunk as per but my mum used to "affectionately" call me jail bait, and chocolate brownie I look like my dad so I was hated on that basis. But then she realised

I can't handle bill paying, I find it too stressful but I have everything on direct debit, and check my account everyday and I am quite relived when everything is paid even if I am a bit skint.

I don't know if this would help you but I log all my bills, income and amounts on my calender app. I have it synced with hubby's so we know what exactly is coming/going and when. I've also got alerts set up for the day before. It's worked really well for me and I know my fixed bill dates off by heart now. Like you we lso have direct debits/standing orders for everything else which just makes the whole process more streamlined and automatic.
I wonder if Jack has defaulted on Bill's or council tax too.

Does she ever admit to buying anything substantial? The drawers were a gift, the apple was the reduced one from sainsburys. I would love to have such generous friends and be so good at continually snaffling bargains!

No clue. Only going on what I've been told.
I've been very vocal about her abusing the Furlough system.
I work for an organisation that helps young people into work and I work a lot with LA and Job Centre. They've employed hundreds of thousands of new staff to process new claims. Once they've got the wheels in motion, I've been told that the majority of those new staff will go to their Fraud department (they call it 'compliance')
They continually check SM. People I've spoken to from the Job Centre are very interested in what she's doing.
Also, if anyone wants to, you can report any individual to DWP fraud via their website. Same with HMRC.

I hate tat like this. Id rather it had no knobs that badly matched ones. Fair enough if one broke and she could afford or couldn't find another to replace it, but that just looks tacky and awful. I'd go out and replace them all if I was her.

I only rented my uni house and I always paid my rent on time. I set up a direct debit. But would late rent duck up her credit rating even more?

not as such but if it was eating into an overdraft that could impact if unauthorised. Also some banks charge for bounced direct debits.
A local one person landlady wouldn’t have the facility to report to credit reference agencies so that wouldn’t impact.... unless she was to go down the route of county court judgements...
