I think there's an undercurrent of jealousy when anyone has contact with I or B. Some people do and I don't have an issue with it.

People who have contact with Alice though - I do have an issue with them. It's not a good look being mates with a proven abuser.

In the tranquil village of Llwydcoed, where the Women’s Institute had recently elected Mrs. Gruffudd as their treasurer, a web of secrets and hidden agendas was about to unravel.

It all began with Gloria, a mysterious figure with a shady past. She had been silently siphoning Alice’s childhood savings into the Llwydcoed Women’s Institute, unbeknownst to Alice herself. These funds were then funneled through the Institute and converted from USD to YoBucks, a currency associated with the dubious dealings of Evil HQ, an enigmatic organization led by Mrs. Gruffudd.

As the money laundering scheme continued, alarm bells rang far beyond the village of Llwydcoed. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) across the Atlantic was closing in on Gloria, who had fled to Wales to escape the authorities.

Mrs. Gruffudd, who had orchestrated this intricate financial dance, knew that they were running out of time. She hatched a daring plan to keep Gloria hidden until the heat died down. But she needed the help of an unwitting ally, Mrs. Rhys.

With her persuasive charm and the promise of ensuring the financial stability of the Women’s Institute, Mrs. Gruffudd managed to convince Mrs. Rhys to use the shed at her allotment as a safe house for Gloria. Mrs. Rhys, oblivious to the true nature of the situation, agreed, believing she was merely assisting a fellow member of the Women’s Institute during a time of need.

As Gloria settled into her temporary hiding place in the shed, she couldn’t help but feel a mix of gratitude and fear. She knew she was caught in a dangerous game, and the stakes were higher than she had ever imagined.

Meanwhile, the IRS investigation was intensifying, with agents determined to trace the money to its source. Unbeknownst to Gloria, her flight to Wales had only delayed the inevitable. The village of Llwydcoed, once a haven of tranquillity, had become the epicentre of a clandestine financial operation, and the consequences were about to reverberate through the lives of all involved.

In the shadow of the Women’s Institute and Evil HQ, the secrets and schemes of Llwydcoed were far from over, and the villagers were in for a series of shocking revelations that would test their loyalties and the very fabric of their tight-knit community.

Lin appears to be an animal person. That speaks volumes to me about someone's overall character. She and Deb seemed to have fallen prey to narcissistic love bombing, devaluation, and the inevitable discard. I'm sure it was incredibly disorienting and hurtful. The blinders came off though, which is a good thing.

I think their advice to cut off ties with the New Zealand fellow was wise and warranted. He's causing AE far more harm than good. It's clear to anyone with healthy boundaries and common sense. He's problematic to say the least. I imagine her RL friends don't support that unhealthy internet 'friendship', especially with the focus on the girls.

I wish Lin well on her healing journey.
