But both Lin and Deb believed Alice was a genuine friend for a long time, and they treated her as one. Even though it has transpired that she was gaslighting them like everyone else, Lin has to come to terms with the fact that her friend wasn’t a friend, thus she has effectively lost a friend. She will probably be mourning for the friend she thought Alice was and may feel sad that it was all fake. It’s not as simple as shrugging and going “well, she was a witch anyway”, that’s not how emotional bonds work.

NL: I think it would be good for Home and Away to have IG in it! It would pay a regular salary. The Mantis would have lots of extra opportunities. I wonder why they don't do that?

They can't doxx Welp. They don't have the brain capacity or patience to do so and even if they did, all it would prove is that Welp is neither Bianca nor Ioan. So that would be an own goal really.

On the subject of Lin, personally I do not trust her, regardless of whether she has been forgiven she clearly has not learned how devious Alice is. Any private messages between Lin and yobee should be kept as such, otherwise Alice WILL use them to twist her narrative.

Why would anyone take job advice from Alice? What Ioan does to earn money is none of her concern anymore. Also, didn't she say that he's got no talent? Why does she want him to act all of a sudden? Running out of money, are we?
Why not focus on getting a job herself? I doubt she'd even last a week at Home Depot tho.

Oddly I watched Liar for the first time (I know shame on me) over the weekend and it was good. End series better than the first for me. I just wasn't a fan of the woman that's in Downtown Abbey in the role (and I loved her in Downtown). Let's not go comparing acting skills Malice, when was the last time you did something 🤔

the above tweet is incorrect: Ioan didnt demand Ella to pay his lawyer fees (even if this is the common move for the accused party winning their case), but to take it out of the final settlement since he believes Alice is behind this. Reasonable. Litigation abuse deserves to be punished.

As for Loopy's take: Repeating it doesnt make the lie true. We all read the transcript that revealed that it was entirely Alice's fault that Ella had no lawyer. Even IF IT WAS TRUE it isn't Ioan's job to make Ella's case AGAINST HIM easier (quite the opposite), especially since it had entirely vexatious intentions. And yet he did made the case easier by waving cross examination for Ella, which would have been hugely traumatic. Meanwhile Alice abandoned her (y)

As for he "falsely" labelled her a liar (I believe this was only about her accusing him of calling her what she is, as the judge also rightly pointed out): He had two witnesses confirming as much. Loopy and everyone else including Alice, her minions and all of us werent there to make a qualified judgement over who is telling the truth, so as a good activist (lmao) surely he would be cautious, eh?

This is actually true. L and D were Pick Me's who thought that their fake friendship with AE made them special. (A bit like the FMs now lol). When we criticised AE, they would post, "But we know her, you don't!!" Turns out we knew her a lot better than they did. :sneaky:

That's also a bit of a contradiction, isn't it? They always say Bianca is irrelevant, so why would they care what she does in the first place?
