As the seasons turned in Llwydcoed, the rivalry between Mrs. Gruffudd and Mrs. Rhys continued to evolve. This time, their battleground was the Llwydcoed Women’s Institute, where the position of treasurer was up for grabs.

The Women’s Institute was a cornerstone of the village, known for its commitment to community service and social events. Mrs. Gruffudd and Mrs. Rhys both saw the treasurer’s role as an opportunity to assert their influence and gain an upper hand.

What Mrs. Gruffudd had in mind, however, was more than just managing funds. She had a secret agenda to use the Women’s Institute as a front for money laundering through her secretive “Evil HQ,” a dubious venture she had been involved in for some time. Evil HQ was a shadowy organization that dabbled in activities that remained hidden from the public eye.

With a sly glint in her eye, Mrs. Gruffudd decided to run for the position of treasurer. She believed that by controlling the Women’s Institute’s finances, she could funnel money from Evil HQ through the organization, disguising its origins and making her secretive operations appear more legitimate than they were.

Mrs. Rhys, however, had no knowledge of Mrs. Gruffudd’s ulterior motives. She, too, was eager to become treasurer, believing she could bring transparency and financial stability to the Women’s Institute.

The day of the Women’s Institute meeting arrived, and the members gathered in the cosy meeting room, their teacups filled with fragrant brews. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as the time for the treasurer election neared.

Mrs. Gruffudd and Mrs. Rhys both presented their qualifications and visions for the role, each pledging their commitment to the organization. Unbeknownst to Mrs. Rhys, Mrs. Gruffudd had crafted a convincing façade, portraying herself as the ideal candidate.

When the time came to vote, the members of the Women’s Institute were faced with a difficult decision. Some were swayed by Mrs. Gruffudd’s eloquence, while others remained loyal to Mrs. Rhys, who had been an active member for many years.

In the end, the vote was incredibly close, but Mrs. Gruffudd emerged victorious, narrowly securing the position of treasurer. As she accepted her new role with a triumphant smile, she had no idea that the Women’s Institute would soon become embroiled in a scandal she could not control.

Mrs. Rhys, though disappointed, remained a dedicated member of the Women’s Institute. As time passed, she began to notice irregularities in the organization’s finances, leading her to suspect that something was amiss with their new treasurer.

Little did she know that her investigation into the Women’s Institute’s funds would uncover a web of deceit and illicit financial activities, all connected to Evil HQ and Mrs. Gruffudd’s secret agenda. The rivalry between the two mothers was about to take an unexpected turn, leading them down a path neither could have foreseen, where the secrets of Evil HQ would threaten to unravel everything.

They are vile people supporting abuse and bullying.

I thought being gullible and lacking critical thinking (maybe not being terribly bright) were the entry requirements for Alice’s pathetic little fan club. Apparently not - you have to be a nasty hypocrite too.

Sadly it's a big thing on SM across all ages. You see so many accounts with people claiming in their bio they are against bullying for any reason, then see their posts and they're out there cheerfully bullying anyone who has a different opinion to them. And they never seem to realise their own hypocrisy, or else they justify it.

I'm glad Lin got therapy and has been able to move on. You have to be pretty hurt and angry in yourself to rage like that at others, regardless of what guff they are selling you. Idk how long Deb knew she had to live but it's good for both of them that they finally saw through Alice and were able to move away from that negativity and hopefully focus on themselves and find some peace in her last days. Whether Ioan and Bianca knew she was ill it was very kind and generous of them to forgive them both so completely. I'm sure it gave Deb some peace. Lin said she reads here but doesn't feel welcome to post. I hope she has friends and family in her real life who are giving her love and support. 💐❤

People get into this and lose perspective sometimes. The majority of ppl following this have never been in any of Ioan’s fan/hate groups, never seen his work or followed him on social media and never had any interest in contacting him or inserting themselves into his life.

Most of us are just watching and commenting on the abuse. Alice’s campaign of public abuse and the disgusting attacks people launch against I and B to please her. Alice surrounded herself with the type of people that will do that for her, some are still doing it, most have quit.

Looks like after the courts are done both sides will be left with the die-hards running over the same old ground and talking via socks. They inserted themselves into the story via Alice and don’t know how to let go. Let’s hope none of us turn into one of those. It’s easy to see why Ioan despised her social media habit though isn’t it. - That’s the one thing I can believe her on.

I see Brandi Glanville has opened an OF account (cringe 👀 ). That would make a good Daily Mail headline for Alice wouldnt it? Hmm.. will she, won’t she??

Well Alice has tried everything else from Glanvilles book, she's never had an original thought in her life.

She wasn't cut off suddenly. She had access to the joint account and took money out of it and stashed it!
And poverty? Would a person living in poverty spend $60 on a fugly coat? Or expired makeup? Do me a favour.
And the judge will tell Alice she needs to get a job because she made those kids too, which means she also has to provide for them and not grift off her ex husband. She has no respect at all. Millions of women around the world work and take care of kids. Heck I do it! She needs to gett off her entitled arse and find a job.

I think their advice to cut off ties with the New Zealand fellow was wise and warranted. He's causing AE far more harm than good. It's clear to anyone with healthy boundaries and common sense. He's problematic to say the least. I imagine her RL friends don't support that unhealthy internet 'friendship', especially with the focus on the girls.

I wish Lin well on her healing journey.

I'm glad if she is truly sorry and has made amends and learned from this, but I do also think it speaks to a person's character/judgement that they think it's OK to harass and bully the ex husband and new partner (and supporters of same!) of their supposed "friend" in such a nasty and vitriolic fashion. I mean, I have friends and family members whose partners/exes have treated them appallingly, and while I'm happy to deliver a few home truths to said partners in person as a once off, that's it. I would never behave as D&L did. I have several narc sisters and a narc mum and I was conditioned to think their behaviour was normal for many years, but I still would not have acted as their attack dog like this under any circumstances. MOO.
