Damn. I wasn’t spoiled for anything and now I kind of wish I was.
Not going to spoil it though as many won’t have watched yet.
I wish Ser Crispy was played by a better actor, there have been many characters I despised in the GoT universe, but I enjoyed seeing them because they were mostly played by really good actors. Not the case here imho, he looks and acts way too modern.
Ok, need to recover 👀

I'm so glad you said that I thought it was just me though thinks Fabien Frankel is a bit crap. Imagine if they'd put someone like Tom Hardy in that role? You might get what Alicent's attraction to him is all about. The way he is played lacks any charisma.

Really dislike the way he has the same facial expression in every scene, with a slight variation of bewilderedness. He sounds sooo unconvinced every time he calls Rhaenyry a witch queen, but we’re supposed to believe that her not accepting his proposal is what lead to Ser Crispy’s undying allegiance to Team Green. Again, he and Alicent are massive hypocrites and if the abortion tea didn’t work, then she will have a bastard of her own, with no gay husband to cover it.

Forgot to say, that Freddie Fox seems a bit wasted on this show so far. I know his career is apparently suffering due to who he’s related to (a rare case of where nepotism fails), but I have enjoyed his work in the past.
Yes, he is great, in all his scenes although there aren't many.
I didn't watch the last episode (yet) but I think there is a dramatic showdown with the Greens at the end of this series so he may come to the fore then.

I think it's bleeping bold of HBO to expect anyone to be "Team Green" when the only likeable character (Helaena) is barely in it
Nearly all the characters are murderers, war crazy, selfish, lying hypocrites to be honest so difficult to side with any of them!
I like Helaena (well played by the actress)although she got over the death of her son pretty quickly didn't she?

i know this is the worst time to say it following the latest episode, but i love aemond so i'm team green 😂
You WHAT?!

Jk, kind of. I'm totally mature enough to acknowledge people like characters I don't like. Ha ha. Ha.

I just like the Rhae's, Rhaenys & Rhaenyra. Don't really care for anyone else. I kind of like Alicent in a weird way, but that's probably just because I fancy Olivia Cooke.

i also kind of like alicent probably for the same reason as you!

on the blacks side, i love daemon

Was Aemond trying to kill him in the air? If so, did he know? Did everyone witness it from down below? And was Aemond about to finish him off before he was stumbled upon?

I think from the ground it could look vague enough but I thought there was a definite glint in Aemond's eye when he decides to go for Aegon. In my opinion he for sure thought he'd kill two birds with one stone.

I doubt he'd have finished him off with a sword though cause that would have been truly bizarre since the Team Black members were in the castle still or like. .. very much dead (RIP Rhaenys).

Oh Aemond. Definitely the fitter one to be king (between him and Aegon, Rhaenyra would actually have been good if they'd let her) but that's the curse of the Targaryens isn't it? There's always someone fitter to be on the throne than the one that actually gets put on. Rhaenys would have been a badass queen while Viserys was actually pretty lame.

I feel for Helaena and even for Alicent on Team Green but I'm forever Team Black. I like rules and they're the actual legitimate one. None of it would have happened if Alicent hadn't tried to play kingmaker.

I said this long ago back in season 1. He is too modern for the medieval role he is playing. Trying so hard to be sassy and cocky

He's a bad actor, in my opinion. It's not even that he looks or acts too modern. There's no modem way of looking terrified like when three dragons are fighting above you and there's nowhere you can hide. That's going to read as terror now, in 1672, and in an invented fantasy land all the same. But he looked miffed at best. I never read terror. At the end, when he surveys the damage and the character should realize what has been unleashed with that plan of his and what happened and how there's really no role for him or human armies to play, we got nothing. He looks maybe a little disorientee. tit acting. He's just not emoting well. And then when you have actors dancing circles around him, it's made even more clear.
