That's what I was wondering, I couldn't tell if the scene/his character was meant to be serious or not.Who is Ulf? Is he really a Targaryen?

Maybe he’s wearing Melisandre’s necklaceThey probably could age her up a wee bit with makeup. They did that with ealhswith in the last kingdom and she changed up her voice to sound older. The actress was playing an old woman by the end and she was probably late 20s/30 at the time
Same with ser crispy, he's out here looking the same age as he did at the tourney 20 odd years before
Yeah they didn’t make it clear for people who haven’t read the book. He’s a dragon seed, same as Hugh Hammer. Targaryen bastards. Alyn and Addam are Velaryon bastards. That's what I was wondering, I couldn't tell if the scene/his character was meant to be serious or not.
Gotta be. I say that only because why add such a scene unless it’s paramount to the show? It didn’t feel like a filler scene?Who is Ulf? Is he really a Targaryen?
“I have begun badly”Gotta be. I say that only because why add such a scene unless it’s paramount to the show? It didn’t feel like a filler scene?
Also can we all appreciate how funny Queen Rhae is. Her facial expression/body language and tone was hilarious when talking to the worm about her gay husbands dragon, and the way she walks off when worm makes the lonely comment also I can’t remember the wording but the way she delivered it and her facial expression was comical when she says to Alicunt re her approach ‘oh I did that a little wrong’. It was only on the second watch that I appreciated both scenes
I HAVE BEGUN BADLY“I have begun badly”
Had me chuckling too
I agree, I also love seeing their connection with their riders - Syrax and Rhaenyra, Caraxes and Daemon, Meleys and Rhaenys…it’s just a shame what happens to them all in the endAbsolutely loved the scene of Baela and Moondancer - love all the details on the different dragons and their riders. They, the dragons, feel like proper characters in HOTD, different from GOT.
I mean, true. It was pointless. But I also really enjoyed itWatched the last episode only yesterday; not as intense as the previous one but still good. I need Aegon to find out where exactly Ser Crispy was when his son and heir was killed make dragon food out of him, I beg you, oh crazy one.
The whole thing of Rhaenyra getting into King‘s Landing to talk to Alicent was straight out of Game of Thrones seasons 5-8 plot insanity what was the point other than getting the two actresses back on screen together (which I enjoyed, yes)?
It did show though that Alicent has no power whatsoever. Rhaenyra was willing to call off the war, but Alicent can’t do the same. She’s not the queen, Ser Crispy is thisclose to turning against her, her father lost his job and fled the city, creepy LittleFoot has her under surveillance and her son the king will never listen to her. What’s the point in Alicent even being there, is what I’m asking, I guess
I'm probs gonna cry lol I'm not prepared at ALLI am not ready for this next episode
I have no idea what to expect but your post has made me anxious I’m considering staying up until 2am to watch it but know I will absolutely not function tomorrow if I do.I am not ready for this next episode
I can't believe there are only 8 episodes this season. I think its because of a sensible plot stopping point potentially. My theory -originally I thought this season may end with Rhaenyra and Daemon taking Kings Landing but now I think that may be too fast timeline wise?
