Totally agree. I really wanted this for her. I was hoping she would’ve got close to Cersei wearing Jamie Lannister’s face (after killing him first ofc) and then done it. What a twist that would’ve been. 😂

He’s on board for it! I think he’s also going to be one of the producers, or so I read anyway.

Team black, the children sway it for me but Alicent could still win me over.

I've enjoyed this more than I thought I would, I knew it wouldn't be the same depth of GoT but it's exceeded my expectations.

I've clicked zero spoilers unless it's been clear they're not realy a spoiler and just about an episode that's aired. Kinda want to look up family trees and dragons but I'll resist for 6 years 😬

Not surprised it's going to be two years in-between, theres so much more computer generated stuff compared to GoT. I remember with that they only ever wanted dragons dying over water as it was too difficult and expensive to have them dying on land. Maybe they'll have to do this for HotD?

Most of the CG has been amazing, but I felt king's landing looked a bit flat. The scene where they find egg-on Aegon hiding in a sept looks a bit like it was a projection set? Everything else looked like normal composition stuff.

I think I read a lot of it is projection sets. Some of it has looked very CGI'd to me.

Interesting, I think the bridge on dragonstone might have been a projection also but not totally wrapped around.

The majority looks like full sets with CG added in and although it's patchy at times it's still pretty impressive how much they do. In AAA movies the CG can often be quite dodgy with way more budget per minute. Apparently it cost under 20 million an episode which considering the scale and amount of work doesn't sound too bad.

I forget which episode but the one that had a window looking out on king's landing looked pretty impressive.
 
There were lots of great characters in Game of Thrones but my favourite house was the Lannisters. Tyrion was brilliant and so were Tywin, Cersei and Jaime.

I'm going to be team black in this series but that's just for Daemon. I don't particularly like the older version of Rhaenerys.
I do like Alicent and Aemond though so it's a tough choice 😅

Favourite character of the entire series was Daenerys. What can I say, I love a fiery dragon queen 😂

Also had a huge soft spot for The Hound. We’re both Scottish, we both tend to use the “c” word a lot. 💀


I agree, I was so pissed off when it was Arya who killed him. It kind of shat on the prophecy we’d been told about for eight bloody seasons.
