Home and Away

Yeah Alf is a grump. He needs to lighten up. Love John, he's hilarious and has actually shown himself to be caring towards characters a lot lately.

I must have missed an episode but what happened with Bob in the end? Last I saw of him he was sleeping in the car and Kirby offered him one night in the house I think? He was gone after that.

They could've done more with Ziggy's issues with the baby. All sorted within a few days, typical Home and Away style. A chat with life guru Irene and all is well.

I’ve noticed this too. The storylines are pretty short! It seems with the people around her knowing already like Flick’s drinking issue is going to be wrapped up pretty sharpish too..

I think that was it for Bob. Part of me wishes he had stuck around. I feel like the show needs a sort-of bad guy who is a regular.

Yeah the characters get over big life issues too quickly. Although I thought they did Jasmine's grieving over Robbo well as that storyline went on for months. Then when she seemed to be moving on with life with Cash she realised she wasn't over Robbo's death. Although that last bit was just to get her out of the show quickly.

It was strange how Bob disappeared. Thought he'd stick around and create a few issues for Kirby and Theo.

I kinda wish he’d get with Mack but I suppose that’d be too weird now

I thought they would've made a better couple than Ari and herself and I was hoping that they would've gotten together at the time. Although that would've ruined Tane as a decent character. Can't see it happening now although I think Tane would have a lot more stability if he was in a relationship with Mac. Unlike this rollercoaster of a relationship with Flick, it's stressful to watch.

Bringing Martha was utterly pointless. They should've left her dead. Bringing her back to have her spend most of her time in Merimbula and then the whole transplant storyline which was so dragged out and we all knew it'd work out in the end as they wouldn't bring her back to kill her off so soon. And the speed Roo recovered at after 🙄 Although I think Alf being gone as often as he is to Merimbula is a way to give the actor time off due to his heart condition in real life.
