Oh the irony! Megs is talking at the Most Powerful Women Summit. Does she realise that she was only invited because of her links to the Royal Family? You know, the one that she rejected? Before she took up with Haz, very few Americans knew who she was as she was, to be generous, a mere D-list actress. Does she really believe she got there on her own merit?

When İ see how much MM is transforming her appearance and presentation to emulate Kate it reminds me of Fay Weldon's The Life and Loves of a She-Devil. The character Ruth transforms into her husband's lover and then begins to wreak havoc on the life of her husband and everyone around him. İt was made into a TV series and was compelling watching at the time. That Fortune video of hers was painful to watch. As usual she didn't really say anything of consequence or that made sense. İ could not believe the interviewer fawning over and sucking up to her, describing her as a 'powerful woman'. So vomit-inducing to hear MM describe herself as 'authentic'. She will blatantly lie at the trial without batting an eyelid.

I don’t understand why everyone is excited about this latest ruling.
I don’t believe for one minute that Scabies, The Meg or one of the 5 witches will tell the truth under oath.
They’ve made it clear how much they hold this country, the laws, traditions and ‘etiquette’ in contempt. I don’t think any of them will be honest. They will all lie like MF. It’s unlikely they’ll ever be proved to be a liar. Scabies and The Meg in particular. They have made their lives lying and wreaking havoc. They will take the oath, lie and leave.

She isn’t on trial, she is suing the DM. I’m absolutely happy to be proved wrong. And I hope your optimism is better informed than my cynicism. By nature they are liars. Why would a UK court and oath change their habit of a lifetime?

The only one I think might spill is one of the 5 friends, if they are nervous. They might not be narcissistic schemers and may be feeling used. But it’s not a sure thing. Meg will be very careful to keep Scabies onside right now, even though it looks like she has thrown him under a bus in public. I think she will have worked out a deal or laid it on thick with him how important he is to her and Haz to keep his loyalty.

And as for her phone and messages. She might have had a burner phone for contacting Scabies. Given her own phone probably is connected to the Palace, I’m sure she is wise enough to do her dodgy dealings out of their reach.

I hope I’m wrong. I hope she gets hung out to dry. But I doubt it.

Mmm I don't know about that so much. It is going to be one of the most reported on trials ever held. Every word uttered is going to be reported on (just like what happened at the Depp trial). Scabies, Durand, and the Famous Five will fade away, in the long run they are inconsequential. However if she lies at this trial she may well get away with it there, but she will have to maintain those lies for *decades* into the future. That's a tall order. If those lies *ever* come undone and even years later she's revealed to have perjured herself in court, she's toast.

I agree Smeggy has no respect for the UK or British justice. She will lie as soon as drop her knickers.
I'm not as optimistic as everyone else about the Mail winning against her in court BUT win or lose the gloves will be off and they will fling a mountain of tit over her. 💩💩💩💩

Hopefully the moonbump scam will be revealed to the general public after the trial. The Mail will get their vengeance on her.
 
I absolutely agree that none of them will be honest witnesses, but I do have some optimism that under questioning by a ruthless barrister (which you can be sure the Mail’s lawyers will be) it will be very difficult for all of them to maintain their lies consistently.

Perhaps easiest for Meghan if she claims complete ignorance and that the FF is all made up, but I think for Scobie it will be very uncomfortable. If he backs her then he effectively says his book is a work of fiction which would ruin his credibility completely. Even if he talks about other sources, a lot of the information could only have come from M and H - so then we’re back to an indirect leak, which puts the spotlight back on her - and also the question of why she hasn’t sued the hell out of OS given that the book is the worst ‘breach’ of privacy. And don’t forget Carolyn Durand - will she back OS’s version of events? She’s been far less vocal but may be less willing to trash her own credibility.

I think the Mail’s lawyers will make this very very uncomfortable for Meghan, and that’s why Schillings have fought so hard to suppress this as evidence, because they know how damaging it will be to their case.

You just have to remember what our legal expert told us. The Mail don’t care if they lose. A trial is win/win for them and the rest of the dastardly tabloids who will report every last detail. They’re going to show her for the bleep she is and it seems the only person who can’t see that is the bleep herself. Roll on January! Note to all Tattlers, order popcorn, lots of it 😂

But evidently, this doesn't apply to her lies, of course. Anyone calling her out, is not a brave seeker of the truth, but an instigator of nasty, racist hate speech, it appears. Or they need to be sued. Or both.

I've always wondered what type of person needs to listen to a motivational/ inspirational speaker? (Honestly, I've always considered it to be a money making/ promotional venture)
You don't need to be told, "I did it this way", "You can do it too", "believe in yourself and your magical unicorn dreams can come true"..................If you are going to make a success of your life (however you like to measure success) - it's already within you, you don't need to pay $$$$ for someone to tell you the obvious.
It just appears that those that like to give motivational talks are really deluded about their own importance in the World.
Yes, I would listen to talks of an interesting life but without any kind of preaching element. Everything we need to know about improving our own lives or the World, is at our fingertips now - why are people giving air time to these blatherers?
