They would. She is lovely but I find him very smug, hot but smug, they are not mutually exclusiveOff topic (soz) but I really think maxy and sandro would totally make really beautiful babies together!
I think we'll allow him smugThey would. She is lovely but I find him very smug, hot but smug, they are not mutually exclusive
Well, with a name like you have, I’m not surprised.
I didn't find him smug until this week. I don't know if it's the editing, but he came across as quite big headed this week. I didn't notice it as much before. They would. She is lovely but I find him very smug, hot but smug, they are not mutually exclusive
Repeating myself here, so apologies. It’s box ticking now, more than skill I think. All ethnicities , sexual persuasions, ages, looks etc., Carol is the quirky one with the silly hair. This is happening on many reality shows now, and it is so insulting. Some really good bakers will have been rejected in the choosing process. Apart from that, they should be changing the name to The Bake Off, if candidates can enter from other countries.I don’t mind Carol, but how on earth did she get picked for GBBO? She struggles with every challenge.
I’d love to know how they choose the bakers.

Wasn’t it Jurgen most weeks last year until he missed the final? Is this the least diversity of star bakers we've had so far compared with this point in the show historically? Maxy twice, Janusz twice and now Sandro. It seems like those three are miles ahead of the others!

Yes I think you’re right. I don’t think it’s a particularly stand out field this year, but those three seem a lot further ahead than everyone else.I think it'll be those three in the final. I like Janusz and Maxy, but I just can't warm to Sandro at all. I love Syabira. I'd love to see her in the final but I don't think she'll make it that far sadly
They certainly did not all live in the UK last year, two of them came from other countries, and I am pretty sure one of them does this yearEr sorry what? They all live in the UK.
There’s not a crack team of international baking professionals being parachuted in to take slots from local bakers.

I have read the resumes of the bakers from last year and this, and I may or may not be wrong. Living in the UK does not make a person British. If I move to France to live, I don’t suddenly become French. Though that is being pedantic. I know there was some dismay last year when Giuseppe had lived here only temporarily and went straight back to Italy. I don’t care where the contestants come from, just don’t call the programme British. But this was merely an aside to my post. They certainly did not all live in the UK last year, two of them came from other countries, and I am pretty sure one of them does this year
I love Maxy, she is delightfulI'd be happy if Maxy (she's so pretty though ) Sandro or Janusz won.
Well, I’m old, so perhaps that’s why I take it to mean that candidates have to be British. I would take your point with more interest had you not ruined it with a eye roll. Such condescension undermines any opinion. So? I don't remember there ever being a requirement for only british people to enter
They are baking in Britain therefore it’s a British Bake-off, it’s not the Great British Baker so it doesn’t matter where they come from.Well, I’m old, so perhaps that’s why I take it to mean that candidates have to be British.
Thank you, I see that now. They are baking in Britain therefore it’s a British Bake-off, it’s not the Great British Baker so it doesn’t matter where they come from.
