Great British Bake Off #3 2022

I'm enjoying this episode so much more than previous episodes of this series! Feels more like actual baking and the showstopper reminds me of old school bake off with cakes that won't set. Anyone remember Hermine's jelly flower cake?

I enjoyed the first couple of challenges but now we’re at the showstopper I’m getting annoyed again, no one makes a cake out of mousse because it would sag all over the show.. so what do they all do, add more gelatine so it holds its shape. Obviously! And what do Paul and Prue do? Complain it’s too gelatiney! 🫣 what about just asking them to make a nice mousse FFS!

And they also have less time than they would at home so less time to wait for setting etc That's annoyed me every single series They never take that into account

And what's with the wet sponges in the showstoppers 🤢 can they just do cake with no added fluids please
