Grace's cakes aren't wedding cakes. Everything she bakes comes out looking lovely and delicious but obviously homemade.
My guess is that Jesse and his new wife wanted something bespoke? idk, grace could definitely make the brownie cake but perhaps they didn't want to risk Grace ruining yet another hoodie.
but to be fair the cake they got wasn't really amazing. it was a pile of brownies

And maybe Grace didn't want the stress of making it and just wanted to enjoy the lead up to and the wedding day!

I get the pressure thing *if* it was a cake, but it wasn't, it is quite literally brownies with some flowers dumped on top. She's made brownies a gazillion times, I can't see how she could possibly mess that up?
Yeh exactly, I am not a baker and I could have done that tbh. No offence to the woman who made it, looks delicious and I love brownies but I don’t see how it would have been a huge stress for grace to do something similar

Does anyone know what religion Grace is exactly? I've never heard her mention it, just seen comments of her being a 'Christian' on these threads. But what exactly does that mean? It sounds more cult like from these comments or maybe similar to those American church groups?

Sorry if I'm being really ignorant. I'm Irish and religion appears to be really different here. And I really don't understand the Americans I've seen who are super 'Christian', I really have no idea what this means but from what I've seen it seems almost cult like and quite alien to me.

I'm not sure what exactly she is but I'm guessing some form of non denominational Protestantism. I'm Irish too and it's hard to figure out. The church group they go to is called Life City Church if you want to read more about it. Seems to have quite a few branches in different areas.

Yes as mentioned above, it is called Life City Church and they are a type of Pentecostal church but not as strict. I wonder what they follow vs what is taught.

I think they're just Church of England so by default protestant, their website doesn't seem to mention a denomination and that's normally the default when people say they're a Christian in England. It's really not that cult like from what I've seen, I grew up in the church and honestly Grace and her family's religion seems normal for devout, practicing Christians in England. Her family is quite high up in their church - both her parents, Chloe and who I assume is Chloe's husband are all in senior positions - so they're naturally going to be more dedicated.

Would they not attend services in a traditional church building if they were Church of England? Sorry, I don't know much about CoE but Life City services seem different. It seems to have a live rock band and be more "trendy" and modern, more like American non denominational churches

Would they not have an actual church

A lot of this is normal for CoE these days, especially ones that are marketed towards a younger crowd like Grace's seems to be. Especially in cities, more often than not you'll find the church practicing in a shared space since it's hard to keep and maintain a building, or they have more contemporary looking buildings because churches tend to be built in whatever style of architecture is trendy at the time. In a lot of CoE churches it's a lot less traditional hymns and more modern Christian alternative/rock/whatever. People like Matt Redman, Phil Wickham, Beth Croft, etc. are all the kinds of music you might hear in a church that's trying to appeal to a new range of people. I used to play keyboard in my church's band for a while as a teenager.

Oh, I didn't mean Graces' family there :). Really, I didn't even know she was religious until I read it here. I meant various American religion groups that I've read about, and they all call themselves 'Christian' so I was wondering was it a similar church.

Don't know if anyone has watched Grace's newest video. She apologises in the comments for not being 100% as she was a bit poorly but I actually found it so much more relaxing and enjoyable compared to a lot of her videos as of late.

I hope she did the video out of pure interest as some of the days definitely looked quite low calorie compared to what she normally eats but in my opinion these are the kinds of videos Grace thrives in. Where she's just chilling, doing her own thing and not playing up to the camera.

I thought she was much better too, so much more Grace than she’s been recently.
