So the IOC inadvertently reveal that this IS a DSD case until otherwise shown. Everyone handwringing that a woman who has a uterus and could birth a child etc etc etc is being treated unfairly for being “masculine” and having high testosterone can stand down now since it’s very likely that isn’t what happening.

I don’t think he believes it. He retweeted Sharron, James Dreyfus, Barry McGuigan, FairPlay for woman. Disappointed he caved though.
This is what annoys me when something hits the news about men in womens spaces, sports etc. Is a massive thing happens and people discuss it for 48 hours, a few brave people put their head above the parapet but get bullied back behind it and it blows over until the next time. This will all be forgotten once the Olympics is over :( I feel very pessimistic at the moment I am sick of this ideology. 😰

Twitter is an extremely fake place, “Like” numbers are gamed and some people will sit online all day just to hound anyone who expresses a message that they disagree. It trends very trans rights activist heavy and this is seen as part of that battle (accept individuals raised female who are male in women’s sport, next step is actual trans women in women’s sport across the board). Les would have only been saying what most people know the facts are thinking, and I am sure still thinks the same, but coordinated campaigns will defeat most people’s will to engage.

There is systematic use online of misinformation (“born female and has a uterus”), stupid memes (“I’m a woman and I’m 6ft 2 so the TERFs will be after me next”) and downright misogyny (“JK Rowling is a nasty old harpy blah blah blah”), such that ordinary or famous people stumbling across this “debate” can easily get their toes burned and back out. The activists are banking on that.

Does anyone else think that Khelif will have been told to lose today? Then the IOC can try and weasel themselves out of this mess before it gets to medal time?
Yes! The IOC need this to go away asap. It's the only way the story will die down. I don't know if Khelif will have been pressured to lose but it would def suit the IOC. I almost hope Khelif gets all the way to the final - without anyone being injured along the way - and peaks even more people.

Maybe it's the algorithm but I find Twitter fairly gender critical. It's very fake though.

it’s crossed my mind but if you are that desperate to win you are prepared to cheat and beat up women in the process, would you be able to sacrifice yourself. Im not sure who they would be sacrificing their own win for, because it’s not like they are trying to advance a trans rights are human rights type cause. And I think the IOC are so boldened to keep defending this then they won’t care if he wins either. They will just defend their position that the best woman won.

The absolute best way forward now would be Khelif to win by default because the women do what Angela did and pull out after the first man punch. However I am concerned Hamori will have been read the riot act to not react the same way Angela did. Imagine not only sanctioning a man in the boxing ring but also pressuring a woman to not refuse/consent to fighting him.

I'm beginning to think that a lot of people defending Khelif actually think he's trans. They're so desperate to be seen as right on and "TWAW" that it makes them unable to read and understand the case.
Yes I think you're right but trans women shouldn't be allowed to compete as women anyway because they have an advantage.
I'm going to boycott the rest of the Olympics now. That man making his horrible speech has infuriated me.
