The IOC doubling down on this is only making themselves look more ridiculous which I think will help our cause even more eventually.
This is currently being played out on the biggest stage in the world and is bringing it to the attention of people who previously weren’t aware of the issues of men in womens sport.

Khelif could have got a swab and shut it down but they know. Even if they get this gold there's not gonna be a professional career for them, maybe a single medal is enough and can get work on tv\radio at home

I'm very GC, but how is a person born with a vagina and a uterus, who does not have and has never had a penis or testicles, who is able to get pregnant and give birth, a man?

The rumour that IK has XY chromosomes does appear to be only a rumour and not confirmed, as they've not undergone verified freechromosome testing (only hormone testing).

I'm sorry but I think it's really scary that someone who's able to get pregnant and give birth is considered a man.

Where is the evidence of said vagina and uterus? Can you provide a link for us?

The IOC have totally screwed up with the boxing. This has nothing to do with gender but just illustrates their total incompetence. They picked two judges that the IBA had stopped using because they were corrupt to be judges in Paris. They were both involved in the Moorehouse fight where most observers disagreed with the outcome. They've made a total hash of it. Bet they'll get rid of it for LA after all this.

The IOC said it was not privy to McLaren’s findings as the information was not publicly available, and that both judges had passed background checks and vetting processes.

What do the IOC actually do?! I just keep hearing excuse after excuse for any Olympic controversy. It’s always somebody else’s responsibility.

Nobody knows if a person can get pregnant and give birth until they actually do it. Why are people saying this about Khelif? We don't know what body parts they have.

What makes you think he has any of those features? Why are you making this up?

Yep. I’m sure no amount of money can replace lost Olympic dreams but hopefully the money can go a long way to continue her boxing career however she wishes.

I hate boxing btw 😂 I don’t know why anyone would choose to be hit repeatedly!
I actually enjoy it! But that fight on Thursday really affected me and left me shaken. I haven't felt that way about a female fight since I watch Cyborg (a female steroid user) beat Gina Carano in the UFC. I won't be watching any fighting for quite a while after that. I don't actually watch it to see people get hurt, I don't watch it to see fear on peoples faces.

“Women’s Rights” News going all in. Should have expected no less 🤢
This one comment did make me laugh, but it will only resonate with a few people on this thread (IYKYK 😅)View attachment 3089200 q

I’ve missed the joke but one thing that strikes me about this is that is keeps coming back to race and religion. “Weaponising white women’s tears”, the implication that people are saying non-white women look like men because they don’t conform to Western beauty ideals… all that BS.

Is it just me or does the “and it hurts because she has the kindest eyes” comment stink of some “noble savage” thing? 🤢

Just like the trans debate, it can all be traced back to the social justice movement, where being white makes you the oppressor in everything you do - the enemy even.

I think the Free Palestine movement has made this even worse. It’s no coincidence that the Twitter accounts I keep seeing, spouting the most ridiculous misinformation, all have watermelon emojis in their usernames. And despite so many of them being white atheists, there’s now an automatic love for all things Islam.

Imagine if instead we were looking at a DSD male from Israel. The discourse would have been verrrrry different.

None of these idiots have engaged their brains. It’s all about the groupthink.

The IBA statement literally said it wasn’t a testosterone test.

If they were a woman they would’ve absolutely appealed the IBA’s decision to disqualify them instead of not appealing or appealing then withdrawing the appeal (Khelif withdrew the appeal, the other boxer didn’t appeal at all).

If someone isn’t eligible to compete in women’s boxing after the tests carried out that means they’re not a woman.

Hope this helps, if not literally start from the very beginning of this thread because that’s literally all we’ve discussed.

Also how do you know Khelif has a vagina and uterus and can get pregnant and give birth?

I am very much pro Palestinian but I did get a bit of abuse from people yesterday who were also pro Palestinian. I also got support from pro Palestinians.

But mostly abuse 😅

People can’t stop to think that actually it’s incredibly exploitative to go to poorer nations and scout these boys. It’s almost certain that people at the top, rather than the athletes with DSDs will be financially benefiting from it all the most.
But then people can’t stop to wonder why these male bodied XY “women” seem to be extremely over represented in women’s sports can they 🤔🤦🏻‍♀️

It's so exploitative. I really feel for anyone with a DSD with all this in the news. I felt really uncomfortable with Hamori's picture of the horned beast as well - I know what she's getting at but it's very dehumanising for people with DSDs. Again, IOC could have prevented all this with a simple swab test and a willingness to admit that women have xx chromosomes.
