Because for years all I've heard that all these things were intrinsic aspects of being female. No ifs, no buts.

I don’t view ‘TERF’ as an insult, and I don’t care if anyone tries to insult me by levelling the term at me. I don’t believe in gender ideology and I never will, and attempting to ‘insult’ me for that won’t work.

By the same token, I don’t believe in God, and so terms such as ‘heathen’ or ‘blasphemous’ wash right over me too.

The fact some rare disorders exist does not make XX=female and XY=male untrue

That’s why they are called disorders. They are deviations from the norm.

Humans are a bipedal species (two legs, that is). The fact that some people are born with limb differences doesn’t make that untrue.

Humans have 46 chromosomes. The fact Down’s syndrome exists (47 chromosomes) doesn’t make that untrue.

I don’t think people on this thread are being mean, I do think we have a variety of patience levels with being told we are not appraising the situation properly when most of us have spent months/years learning about how men have infiltrated women’s spaces and sports.

None of this explains why they aren't described as women with DSDs. They just jump straight to the conclusion that if you have a DSD you're a man.

Khelif failed an IBA test to prove their eligibility for the female category. It has been stated that this was not a testosterone test; ergo, by deduction it was a cheek swab/DNA test. If the results of a DNA test render you ineligible for the female category, then you are not biologically female. Ergo, you are make. A male person with a dsd, but biologically male nonetheless.

I think you know this, but are trying to obfuscate with faux-naïf semantics.

The IOC is the real problem here. There is no safeguarding, there are no rules. Why is there not one rule across the board for who can compete in each category? This is supposed to be the pinnacle of sport. XX/XY is so straightforward.

If I was deemed ineligible to compete against women, as a woman, I would be appealing the tit out of it so also speaks volumes that one boxer didn’t appeal and the other withdrew. Khelif has failed a number of testosterone tests due to their level being too high.

Khelif has failed another eligibility test for the female category that was not a testosterone test, and therefore was, by deduction, a cheek swab/DNA test. If the results of this test had shown xx chromosomes, eligibility for the female category round have been proven. This was not the result. Khelif initially contested this, then dropped the appeal.

But the response to this is that we have all just fallen for Russian propaganda designed to take down "the West". We are already doing a good enough job at that ourselves, Russia don't need to do tit!
