Whose is that? They are haemorrhaging staff at a shocking rate! Has Mark Steyn been sacked too? If you look at their presenter website there is four of who no longer work for them. No wonder Carol Voderman is sharpening her elbows. She fancies a job I reckon

To be fair it did seem like Mark was going a bit of the conspiracy route. I understand his support for the vaccine injured and that was a positive thing to bring awareness too, but GB News probably want to avoid issues with ofcom. I think his show had already had a warning last year, so it isn't so much of a surprise tbh.
 
Mark Steyn was the only presenter who I felt was potentially far-right and he veered too often into conspiracy theories. I think he'd land himself and GB News in hot water if he continued much longer so it wouldn't surprise me if he & the channel mutually called it quits. Probably good for the channel that he's exited quietly since his fans are quite rabid.

Anyway - Steyn & Grimes both out, probably a good move - now time for Cosplay Calvin, Neil Oliver & Laurence Fox to go next. Then I think the channel seems a bit more respectable. Then again, Rees-Mogg is coming in.
 
I'm loving that Angela Rippon has been doing some covering on the Breakfast show. However I do hope Anne Diamond returns from her "sabbatical" as Stephen Dixon called it, and that she hasn't left. I really like the two of them together. Also would love to see Angela on a regular slot.

I agree re all of the people you mentioned above. If GB News wants to be taken seriously it can't have people on who veer too far in a certain conspiracy direction. I know the station brands itself as anti-establishment and "The People's Channel" but there has to be some gravitas to it in order to attract as many as possible, and I think they are realising that. Bottom line and all that.
 
Head girl bev turner seems to be doing two shows a day at the moment. They must be short of cover.

I could of been delirious while listening with a migraine lying down yesterday, but I'm sure she was going on about dildos from ancient civilisations

:LOL: There are quite enough dildoes working at GB News as it is. Private Eye had some gossip this week ... if I get time I'll write it up.

What was the gist? I haven't read it yet.

Private eye are usually on about how the presenters have very questionable views on their own social media.

The Institute for Economic Affairs - Liz Truss’s mates. They’re notoriously secretive about their funding so it’s probably Big Oil, Big Tobacco and so forth.

I’ve followed GB News with interest since it began, mainly because it just seems to have been such a car crash from the word ‘go’. It could have been really good but they chose the easy way forward of pandering to anti-vaxxers and other far right oddballs. Such a shame. I think the money is starting to run out now, so I don’t think it will be on air this time next year.

I see that Ellie Costello (blonde lady, sometimes does the breakfast show) has got herself a shiny blue tick on Instagram, with all 8000 of her followers. Didn’t know having a stalker could be so beneficial!
