The twins will be almost 7 soon. How much longer will he be able to carry until they refuse to cooperate?

I bet they’ll peace out when they realise that their friends live normal lives without their personal details blasted over the internet without their consent. So maybe age 9?

I’m on holiday with a couple of my kids and a friends kid right now. We got to a major city yesterday (imo, one of the most beautiful in the world!), took a ton of photos while wandering…asked all 3 last night if I could post a few to social media while making it clear that they could say no. And some photos were vetoed. You have to wonder if Sly even has the decency to show the ones not on SM yet what he’s posting of them. And what happens if/when it’s clear they aren’t happy with it.

Today's reading of FOD's book was about the partner's role at the birth.

It was pretty much all typical gender stereotyping of the hapless man getting various things wrong or thinking about doing totally inappropriate things, and the birthing woman threatening him with violence every which way.

I got as far as this paragraph and decided that's enough for today, because the idea of Simon Hooper "having his say" during childbirth is quite frankly more than I can stomach.

The sheer audacity of that statement considering his wife 1) had already given birth twice at this point and 2) was a midwife!!

Have 4 lines of text ever summed up a personality more succinctly? That speaks absolute volumes about who he is- in a moment where his role is to offer his wife support as she labours, he's more bothered about his views and opinions being heard. Bore off Sly.

Oh he really does think he’s the authority on parenting. Just because he’s had a few girls.
What an absolute bleeping breadstick

Probably one of their last chances, if not THE last, to have a whole family summer holiday, before the eldest opts out of them (if she hasn't done already).

There could be a good reason of course, but after two years of not being able to get away I would have been prioritising that over a child-free week in Mallorca, his Euro stag jaunt, her Glastonbury and whatever else.

When was the last time they went on holiday as a family? Was it the "really low expectations" French gîte trip?

They've been noticed by Warehouse UK and included in a compilation reel of "latest trending looks". It's their outfits from that wedding recently.

I still think it's absolutely classless that they used their friends' wedding to furiously try to attract brands, but I guess it worked at least a bit.

Slow clap.

This was mentioned recently so I thought I'd put the actual post up (it's still on Undelete). Could both the photo and the caption be any more contrived?

I honestly don't know how anyone who calls themselves a healthcare professional could ever think this was appropriate.

She is an absolute disgrace. I hope people have refused her care since all that happened. The racist witch.

If she came into my room when I was having my baby a few months ago I would have asked her to leave.

They've probably gone away, haven't they? Should have guessed from them having all their luggage out (or "language" as he called it 🙄), I thought it was the aftermath of them being away for that wedding.

Wonder if he'll come back preaching about how important it is to have a social media break - except it's not a social media break if you spent half the time harvesting the trip for content for those migraine-inducing fast-cut reels to post when you get back, is it?

Guessing from the radio silence it's unlikely to be a gifted trip, but I could be wrong.
