I vaguely remember the Gucci bag being discussed in some capacity ages ago, but couldn't find it to see what was said. I did find this though. The state of her! She looks like she's in costume ready to be a tarty extra at the pub in "Only Fools" 😆

And on the topic of lies, remember when he recently made a big deal of never having been to the rugby with his daughters? This one's him with the two eldest in 2018.

The house my cousin lived in when we were children had it too, but unlike FOD's mockup the bathroom one was at least obscured glass. The counterpoint of light being let into the landing during the day was that at night the landing light, or any other light, would mean light coming into all the bedrooms. Each time any upstairs light was turned on or off everyone knew about it, and it was a ready-made excuse for why we "couldn't get to sleep" on a sleepover 😆

I also had a look but nothing on his feed. I’m sure she spoke about her new bag on her feed or maybe even in an interview.
I just remember her saying how proud she was to buy herself something nice to celebrate her book.
A little stalkerish but I also find her friendship with Mairead Nash/ Hayden interesting. Mairead was a bit of a libertine hanger on and went out with Johnny from Razorlight, dj’d with her friend under Queens of Noize and was a total Camden party girl. She ended up managing Florence and the Machine, making a tit load of cash and hanging around a lot with the Primrose Hill gang, sure she lived with Sadie Frost before she got married and Grimmy is god father to her kids.
Fod and Mod went to her wedding, the Mexican party they went to a few weeks back was also hers. They never mention each other, despite both now living in Margate. That must kill them as surely they would love to be known to be part of a pretty A list scene?
 
He really needs to keep track of his lies! It’s just embarrassing. And shows how desperate they are for cash to lie and share non presents for clicks.

Clemmie must be gutted not to be part of that scene. Her life could have been so different if she’d either not been a lying dick to begin with, or actually owned up properly, not continued to lie, and done the work!
 
Mairead’s wedding didn’t look huge but fod and mod got an invite. Along with Sadie Frost, Grimmy, Courtney Love, Florence, Mark Ronson, Primal Scream. She’s also friends with Kate Moss so she may have been there.
I was surprised Fod just said he was at a wedding, didn’t mention the other guests or who was getting married. This was about 5 years ago but they are clearly still good mates as her 40th birthday party was only a few months ago and they went to that too, again it wasn’t on the gram.
Maybe hanging out with The Libertines and a Courtney Love etc is a bit off the wholesome midwife/family brand?

Wow, did not know about this! Maybe Mairead asked them not to post as it would hurt HER streetcred rather than the other way round 😆
 
I thought the Gucci handbag was a present for the M&S modelling gig.

I don’t know who this Mairead person is but I know someone who went to an NBA players wedding a couple years ago and had to sign an NDA to attend. Is that a thing anyone in the U.K. would do? Or if not to that extreme at least ask people to put down their mobiles and not share content from the wedding?

It is something that might happen here but that wedding in particular was all over Instagram. She isn’t really independently famous, just very well connected. She used to do a club night in Camden, wrote for Nme and presented a bit on mtv2. She then discovered Florence and the Machine and became her manager.
The wedding was all over Instagram but Mairead or the FOD’s never mentioned each other. I would have thought they would be desperate to advertise they moved in that circle. However, they were hiding in the background. It’s just like neither want to publicly associate with each other but must have been good friends for a long time.
When I first became aware of mod I thought she looked and dressed very like Mairead (knew her years ago) that’s why I found it funny when I saw they knew each other.
It’s just another thing that doesn’t quite add up with them all.
