Slimming world really mucked up my digestive system, I was always constipated on it. Not even the Aldi Sugar Free gums could move it. I ended up obsessed with pooping and would get really upset if I hadn’t tit on weigh day
Same as that (re weigh day). I had a weigh in outfit aswell that I BLOODY WEIGHED. It was the lightest summer dress ever (even when it was freezing), no bra, light underwear I mean come the F on. I still have body issues, they'll probably never fully go away thanks to SW but I'm so much happier. I've spent this year (so far lol) improving my food relationship and purely calorie counting with good choices but not punching myself in the face (not literally lol) if I have something I fancy. Whereas on SW I became obsessed and having social events would have sent me into a mad panic about what I could or couldn't possibly eat because...syns! I just go, its one night and carry on the next day as normal

204 calories for a tin of cream of tomato

326 calories for a can of beans and you have a the other ingredients for the 'syn free' version like tinned tomatoes, pickled onions and fat free fromage frais on top

I’ve just put the recipe in from what I can remember. Excluding from age fraud and it’s not much less than proper soup.

It’s because Hex Bs aren’t enough fibre. You can get it from other sources, but the beige foods of slimming world really do bung you up. I think everyone in my groups had constipation.

I would have so obsessed over those 2g of porridge oats too! Which is 8 calories apparently.

I don't think people will ridgidly have a quarter portion though, they slop down half a pan or more because its syn free.
So for most it'll be nearer or over the 400 cal mark
How could you possibly restrain yourself from eating the entire pan….😂

I’m doing calorie counting, and I’m weighing in but I’m not obsessing over the scales. I commented to my friend who is doing SW that I had only lost around about half a pound this week, she told me it was a chance to think about where I had gone wrong and then draw a line….I now realise how much I despise that SW crap. I’ve not gone wrong anywhere! Makes me so angry! They are so obsessive about weight on the scales and don’t understand ‘weight’ loss and fat loss/gain aren’t necessarily one and the same.

I work out regularly so my scales are up and down like a yoyo! I've clearly done wrong by exercising so better get home, cook some tit with quark and scan bran and evaluate my life choices 😆

I just wouldn't dialogue with SW members about food, unless you are certain they don't take it too seriously.
Some of them are real zealots who will look for any reason to say the way you eat is wrong and SW is right.

Theres even been a few come onto this thread (even though it says clealy ex SW) defending it

Half a pound a week. That’s two pounds a month.
That’s almost two stone a year.
How many SW people can say that and keep it off?

A lot of trainers tell you to weigh every day, then divide the average over 7 days to get your true weight loss. But obviously I wouldn't recommend this if you have an obsession with the scales.

Sw in theory touched on this with the "slimmer of the month" but a lot of consultants made you feel like tit at the weekly weigh in if you didn't lose enough. Love how they projected this on to the innocent slimmer, when it was all to do with meeting crappy sales targets! Sw literally sacrifices a person's mental health to meet their financial goals! It's horrendous and shouldn't be allowed

I used to weigh every day now I try to go 2 - 3 days. The obsession with pooing was so real with me I got into a terrible habbit of laxatives to make sure I did. Vicious circle. Glad to be off them 6 months now after a 15 year secret battle. Would you believe only confronted about it once in a chemist (ie safety checks) - never went back there. I know my gut still isn't right. Too easy to get.

They do. Although the packaging puts me off. Either they’ve gone to McDonalds a lot or they’re fishing them out the bin. I guess they reused them but that’s kind of rank as they’d be greasy.

Also what’s with the SW accounts obsession with costa? If they aren’t posting their costas they have mugs with their logo. It’s an awful coffee shop.

I remember them posting about it. They used to go into mcdonalds and ask to buy just the packaging

I’m really sorry to hear that. It’s awful that there are no checks when it comes to buying laxatives. I bought them all the time as a teenager with nobody asking questions. I was pleased to see that recently they’ve put a warning on the box saying that they don’t help with weight loss, which hopefully will deter some people from trying that method.

I don't think it really will and they should be as hard buy as codeine based products. It was probably part of a binge purge cycle with me. (the only reason the questioning chemist sold them to me was I wasn't a teen and looked like I'd know better) I didn't.
