Eurovision Song Contest 2021 #2

I actually wouldn’t of minded if he had of tested positive to be honest, I’m pretty most if not all of the singers and bands I listen too have been out their tree at some point and the thought of the bbc live broadcasting him doing a line was hilarious to me.
He did look like he sniffed something off his fist going towards the stage to preform again after they’d won, but fair play to him he’s gave a negative test and I’ll still be boarding the plane for the Tattle Tour of Italy & Finland.

Shopping on Animal Crossing getting quite targeted 😂

I agree, the majority of rock stars are on probably something. It’s just funny that he got caught doing it on live tv.
Those who are shocked about it probably shouldn’t read up about what used to happen at the Brits in the 90s

I think cheesy is the absolute worst way to go. We need to be edgy, cool and melancholy in the minor key to have any possible chance. The 16-24 age group make up over 40% of the viewership and a much larger percentage of the social media traffic generated. It's them you need to appeal to. Radio 2 fodder and cheesy cringe won't do that. Don't know who is on the panel to choose our songs but I'm guessing they're mainly over 40.

This. I don't understand how people can be thinking that way when their posts are broken up by people talking about the rock star winners being drug tested 🤷‍♀️ I doubt Scooch have ever been close to an accusation of shooting up back stage.

I'm not saying the winners need to be anything close to drug addicts before anyone takes that from my post.

I'm so surprised about that viewing stats, most of the early 20s people I know don't watch live tv at all or have tv liscenses

ahh okay that makes sense. I think we need to do what other countries do and have a popular vote for the acts we submit. it just seems bizarre it is decided by a panel

We did used to do that. The show was called A Song For Europe or Making Your Mind Up where there were a selection of different songs by different artists (about 6 - 8) and we, the viewers, got to vote for our favourite and it was that one that represented the UK. I don’t know why they stopped doing that as it wasn’t that long ago
