I've only really watched the voting properly in the past 2/3 years. Didn't watch Eurovision since late 90s prior to that. (Not sure what lured me back in really) You can lead all the way through and the public vote can set you back to 5th/6th overall. Exciting if you're not involved yourself, pretty shyte if it's your own song/country.

Hopefully the jury vote brings them down. Even with a sympathetic public vote.
There's that but also whilst I can see ex Soviet bloc countries voting for them overwhelmingly (for understandable reasons), I think countries this side of Europe might consider it a bit irresponsible.

I listened to Alesia Michelle and Eurovision Fam earlier after they watched the Dress Rehearsal for the Jury Final and they made some interesting points.

They said neither of them see a Sweden 🇸🇪 win anymore because Moldova is a train into their televote.

They said the 3 male vocalist block from Australia 🇦🇺, UK 🇬🇧 and Poland 🇵🇱 are extremely strong and fascinating to watch. They said Sam is so strong with his vocal + staging + performance that he could pop out from the running order anywhere (+ Italy 🇮🇹 & Spain 🇪🇸) and they cut to a break before and after him for the prop so he’s unaffected really. One of them said they still predict UK could do their best in years and at one point said 2nd could be possible if the stars aligned 😭

They both predict a Ukraine win.

Being honest Ukraine won’t win , as they won’t be able to be the host country as Russia has taken over most of the country, BUT Poland their neighbours who have taken in millions of Ukraine people and helped with resource’s will be able to host the ESC so it’s possible they will win?

If Ukraine wins the contest will be held in Sweden

Sam’s semi-final jury rehearsal: official version. I think I’m going to cry. Beautiful. ❤🚀👨‍🚀🇬🇧

they kept the sunrise colours i loved and that last shot with just the eclipse type of light???? perfection

Doesn’t mean anything but Sam won the fake vote in the dress rehearsal this afternoon 🙈
we won an online jury style vote too didn't we before the proper videos with the staging were available?? saw a youtuber go through it but can't remember his name!

I'm watching possibly the worst programme I've ever seen- Eurovision Secrets and scandals on Channel 5. The 'scandals' are things like 'Jan Leeming didn't have an autocue and was really nervous' and 'Terry Wogan pretended he was drinking orange juice when it was really Baileys!' Its not even 'so bad it's good' but I only have 10 minutes to kill until Cubs pick up!

The Euro Jury was created to predict how the juries might score the entries and Sam won the jury part which is great!

This fake voting at the dress rehearsal awarded Ukraine 🇺🇦 54 televote points 😂😂

It was quite something for them to announce “The Winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 is the United Kingdom!” and fake Sam Ryder went on the stage.

The world and its uncle knew Terry drank his way through the thing. (He was damn right)

Anyone watching the Eurovision special on BBC4 now? I think the program is 15 years old but it’s a nice look into the past.

GinaG’s Just a little bit more song has just been on, that always has a special place for me.

From the people I’ve seen live streaming the jury show, they’re saying Sam is the best vocalist tonight and predict he’s going to win the vote😍 Judging by the noise, it sounded like he had the crowd wrapped around his finger and they loved it!

Big cheers from the crowd when showing the recaps of Spain, Italy, Moldova and the UK!
