Saw Mika’s performance at last nights jury show and forgot how good he actually is!

I LOVE Mika since the Grace Kelly days. He comes across as a kind soul, and its impressive he speaks four languages perfectly

I'm 30 and I have never watched it except once what that Daz Sampson done that God awful song. Anyway tonight is going to be my first Eurovision experience haha.

I bloody loved Daz Sampson (Look, I have questionable taste - I also liked Scooch). It's probably people like me that have caused the Beeb to stop letting the people choose the entrants

Remember that moment when Tezza announced the wrong winner when it was Scooch? classic telly.

I don't understand why the UK gets vilified for sending wacky/humorous/cheesy songs but numerous other countries do it.

The French have sent some spectacularly weird stuff over the years, not to mention Latvia sending a bunch of Pirates one year and the unforgettable Russian grannies

Does anyone remember how it worked when Terry Wogan hosted? I was going out that evening so only saw the beginning where he did the introduction bit and then raced up to the commentary box, but what did they do about the voting. Did he go back on stage or stay commentating ?

Why are we getting such good odds this year? The song is better than usual yes, but nobody likes the UK so what makes people think we will win?

If you mean when the UK hosted in 1998, I seem to recall that Ukrika hosted most of it vote due to her being bilingual (Or even multi lingual). She clearly fluent in French as well English and Swedish.
