It'll be a farce if people just blindly vote for Ukraine, similar to the football matches Ukraine are involved in where it was touted to just let Ukraine through.
I'm pretty certain that any Ukrainian sportsman/woman or singer would prefer to win based on their own merits instead.

It's a good placement (near the end) but I worry about it being sandwiched between Australia and Poland, both of which (love or hate them) are great big ballads. Having said that, who'd imagine last year that we'd even be having this conversation! I'm even talking about not voting for my favs in case they edge him out in the points (which is absolute NONSENSE!).

I would like to see Sam in the top 5, that would be entirely deserved for him and a MASSIVE win for the UK (and we can finally draw a line under the whole "Europe hates us" narrative bullshit that Eurovision haters trot out every bloody year).

I'd say that the vocals this year seem weak from a lot of countries? Last year we had some amazing vocal performances, and this year a lot of them seem to be poor or average at best. Some of the better ballad vocals are probably drowned out by the other mediocre ballads too

Even listening to some of the betting favourites and hyped entries I'm surprised just at how low the standard seems to be?

The whole production this year has a domestic singing competition sort of feel to it rather than Eurovision, and the songs probably don't help a whole lot
 
Do we get more Mika on Saturday?

He just seems so *calm* and *nice*. A nice contrast to the mad Italian Mystic Meg lady.

Not sure about his love of identical colour suit/shirt/scarf combos though. Can I bet on what colour blocks he will wear on Saturday anywhere? Any room for turquoise or traffic cone orange :ROFLMAO:

Being honest Ukraine won’t win , as they won’t be able to be the host country as Russia has taken over most of the country, BUT Poland their neighbours who have taken in millions of Ukraine people and helped with resource’s will be able to host the ESC so it’s possible they will win?

Mika is rather good as a compere. I hope his suits are even louder on Saturday 😁

He seems lovely, I'm really enjoying him and love his outfits.
