Last year I loved Eurovision and watched both the two semi finals and the finals and I remember visiting Tattle with all of you and commenting on the performances live but this year I don't know-- I just don't get the hype? I didn't turn on my television ONCE . I knew all the songs were going to be boring because Ukraine will be the winner so all countries didn't really try to send good songs to win. It may also be because in 2021 covid was still a huge thing and we'd stay at home but this year I am going out more during the night. Every performance this year is tasteless and dull. I don't plan to watch the finals either. Is it just me?

I thought the Irish song was overrated and her outfit was awful.
we need Jonny Logan or Dustin the turkey back ASAP 💪💪
No. One word …

I don't think that they are any better or worse this year. There’s usually a couple of good songs and the rest are a mix of wacky, bland and generic pop as usual.

Personally I like the wacky acts and would rather see that than the bland forgettable stuff.
The problem now is that so many of the weirder acts don't make it through to the final 😕

I'm worried for Sam, I really am - I think Ukraine or Sweden will edge him out
Yes they might but it's not really that important.
It would be fantastic if Sam won because his song is so much better but ultimately he's launched his international career and will probably be highly successful.

A year from now he'll be more well known around the world than either of those acts (if they beat him).
