I got a bit excited when I saw Charity had her phone in her hand when the police burst in and said put your hands up. I thought she may have recorded Chloe blackmailing Mack. But then Chloe left in the taxi and pissed all over my theory.

Really gutted my other previous theory didn't come to fruition, the one about Harry/Damon accidently shooting Chloe. That would have been perfect - Harry locked up, Chloe dead and Mack & Charity free to bring up Reuben.

Looks like they've left it open for dreary Chloe and her folded arms to return, worse luck. Also, she'll be minted as Harry/Damon's sole heir.

Talking about totally unrealistic things in Emmerdale, one of my all time favourites has to be when Lachlan was hiding in the attic of Home Farm and was miraculously able to drill holes and see right down to the ground floor of the house. Talk about x-ray vision. Sometimes they don't even try to be serious :D

And who was with Frankie when Nate & Tracy we’re both in the pub at one point but then Tracy went home and got her from upstairs 🤷‍♀️ 😂

Her nursery would be shut down she’d be too busy shagging to run it
 
Well the highlight for me tonight was Bear getting Christopher Dean in a headlock :ROFLMAO:

Rhona can get in the bin. If this were happening to a character I liked I'd maybe be more sympathetic but I cannot abide Rhona. The way she's treating Marlon is abysmal.

Stupid bleeping Tracey, a few people told her she was good at babysitting and now she's carrying on like she's the new Hilary Devey on the brink of launching a business empire :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
 
Joining this thread as a long time Emmerdale viewer. It does have some ridiculous and rubbish storylines / acting lately. I think they swapped writers with Corrie a while ago didn’t they and it seems to have gone down hill since then and Corrie has gotten better when that used to be the stupid soap..

Anyway, my views on some characters.
Rhona - can’t abide her. Real busy body constantly sticking her nose into other peoples lives and I don’t like this storyline with the baby.

Billy and Dawn - utterly dull and boring characters. I don’t care about them enough to care about their baby. Also having this whole brood of kids and Dawn is apparently a Saint and the perfect mother. Yawn.

Caleb - HOT. Caleb and Tracey - ridiculous. Of all the women in the village I just can’t see Caleb with a frumpy woman in a marshmallow coat. There’s nothing sexy or sleek about her which is what I’d think he’d want. Also, Tracey literally left the village and took Nate’s daughter away because he had a one night stand and yet now she was having a full on affair with her husbands uncle.
Though I can’t blame her because…

Nate - also so so dull and terrible actornand awful voice.

Victoria and Jacob - storyline gives me the ick. I quite like Victoria but can’t stand Jacob and his constant confused eyebrows expression.
