I think they are just doing it whilst the Olympics are on. I know it’s on a different channel but it’s a bit of a coincidence they started the early ITVX drops again on the same day of the opening ceremony

The first thing I said to myself when they changed the lock and she got the ‘only’ key that Tom is going to go out to the locksmith and get the other key which is exactly what he did. Belle should have thought of that too and only change the locks when Tom wasn’t around
Also that key that Tom got was so long. I couldn’t imagine having a key that long on my set of keys, it would keep getting in the way or dig into me if I had it in my pocket

He’s still working, haven’t watched todays but yesterday Vanessa left a voicemail to him saying that he’s going through stuff but can’t keep taking time off with no notice (or words to that effect)

Love the friendship between Kim and Lydia, it's a strange yet brilliant dynamic. Kim is so guarded and aloof with everyone yet she trusts Lydia implicitly and there's a genuine warmth and humour in their friendship. Lady of the manor and the cleaner, yet when they're together they're just two women who admire and respect one another. Lydia gets on my tits sometimes but I like her when she's with Kim.
There was a Claire King fan event last week, sounds like it was fab. They did a Q & A and showed videos from 1989 when Kim Tate first appeared.
She's such a class act, here's what she said about the evening. Not saying 'I' or 'me' but speaking for Emmerdale as a whole. bleeping love Claire King!

Let's face it, without them none of us would be able to do what we love, bringing our characters into their living rooms every single week. It was a night to remember for a very long time."

I hope she stays too. It’s a shame they’ve given her character such a dark backstory because it will limit what they can do with her.
