Don't forget she also goes well out of her way to avoid paying any income tax and therefore isn't contributing to the NHS. It's sickening that people like her claim to earn six figures yet brag to their blogging groups about how little they put back into society.

I wouldn't think she'd have power of attorney for him, purely because it means putting yourself out for someone else! (those forms are a massive ballache too!

We had both forms.... Still got ignored and appointments changed by his "daughter in law" (didn't have one) when we were the one taking him to appts. We'd get letters saying that we had missed appts or turn up to them after booking a wheelchair taxi, a taxi to take us 4 miles to his care home to get in said wheelchair taxi to take him as home refused to let him travel in taxi without us there despite it being easier for us to meet at the hospital in the middle of both of us) to find no appointment after we'd forked out 50/60 in taxis there and back as a round trip.

It was the social worker doing it! No wonder for the heart attack, hey!

If she had access to his bank accounts before for matched betting I don't see why she couldn't be in charge of the financial POA, maybe the step sister/daughter in law/sister in law/whatever she is lol has it for the health side

Someone here called it (maybe Katy or Bubbles?) - she's justifying the wasted £10k and her WLS failure by saying it "reversed" her diabetes and led to the detection of her "cancer".

If the surgery coupled with her poor health hasn't been enough for her to lose weight, NOTHING will. She cannot take accountability for her own life - it's always controlled by external factors that she's a victim of. Give it a few years and Imma will grace our screens on My 600lb Life or Hoarders.

I'm sure the weight loss clinic appreciates those tags. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
 
Here's the real update:

I didn't bother trying. Broke the rules from the first week. Looked for every excuse. Didn't even take my doctor's advice for "cancer" treatment. The biggest thing I've lost is 10 grand. Now I feel all sad and need a Costa and an essential Crunchie because I'm not the slinky minx in the bambi dress I thought I was going to be. Might see if I can book another cruise so I can go on a grub tour every day and WE BETTER GO TO CASTAWAY CAY or I'll scream and scream and scream until I'm sick.
 
I'd have so much more respect for her if she just said yeah I messed up, instead she's just wanting constant validation for being a lazy slob. Also playing the MH card isn't cool, I know she has issues but it just totally undermines those actually suffering.

I'm also sad some other money saving people are there telling her how amazing she is l thought better of them.
 
That post may be one of the saddest things I’ve ever seen her put up. It screams of regret and guilt over not achieving what she’s wanted to. Even her cancer diagnosis posts weren’t this sad because she had no control over that, but this was 100% all on her and she’s failed big time. She’ll be absolutely devastated that she can’t post an amazing 1 year post WLS picture accompanied by “I’ve lost 100lbs!” like everyone else does as this point. She’s so far from her goal dress and it’ll be killing her that she knows it’s all her fault. I’m guessing this is pretty much the sole reason for her MH wobble recently - she’ll have been dreading putting a post up saying “I have failed” when everyone’s been expecting her to reveal a big number.

She could easily have put a positive spin on that post but she clearly is really struggling with stuff at the moment and couldn’t manage to do that. For example she could have put up something like (with my estimated numbers)...
“Wow what a year it’s been! WLS, cancer and a pandemic but I’ve survived it all. Before WLS I only ever managed to lose 5lbs on my own but now I’ve lost 8 times that with a total of 40lbs! It may not be as much as I’d hoped but even so, I’m feeling healthier, looking slimmer, I’ve managed to reverse my diabetes and my surgery helped spot the cancerous cells that I’ve now had treatment for and can say I’m cancer free! Over the next year I’m going to continue making progress towards my goal and I can’t wait to see where I am in January 2022!”
