Also I would argue that if Joe married Elle he would also have serious horse expenses, it's just they would be going to support a clotheshorse.
She's not, but she also reused the same picture of Wolfgang's Steakhouse in today's stories. The one from 2 days ago is first, today's is on the right/bottom.I've never tasted Elle's cucking so I can't be certain about this but she's not putting any restaurants or even fast food joints out of business, that's for sure.
Is she getting paid to do these, or trying to get the restaurants to give her free meals by tagging and promoting them? These descriptions have a very promotional vibe. She's not, but she also reused the same picture of Wolfgang's Steakhouse in today's stories. I've attached a few others. She does enjoy her food!
She may be TRYING to get a partnership, but I doubt that she actually has any.Is she getting paid to do these, or trying to get the restaurants to give her free meals by tagging and promoting them? These descriptions have a very promotional vibe.
Agreed, I don’t think the Instagram posts are sponsored. Elle is doing the fake it til you make it strategy. She was also "kindly compensated for her time" (AKA sponsored) by ScotchGuard for a fabric spray and GlassesUSA for cheap sunglasses. Once she moved to Florida with Rick, she got sponsored by Brooklinen for sheets and Express for workwear.
In one Florida vlog, she stopped in Los Angeles on her way to Hawaii because she met with the company that does her affiliate links to talk about new sponsorships. Clearly it worked, because I've actually heard of Express and Brooklinen and ThredUp (sorry, GlassesUSA) and she was doing a different sponsor a week for a while there.
I'm curious why she didn't keep up the sponsorships but I think the combination of having a sad Seattle life with few videos turned the companies off, while her mother clearly paying for all her expenses removed the incentive on her end.
I don't think the Instagram posts are paid for, they seem more "look at all the expensive places I can eat, peasants!" just to remind Joe/her haters/Karens/The Dolls that she is still living that Vancouver Club life.
Elle also has crap engagement (heh). One of the things companies look for in smaller influencers is high engagement with their audience, and Elle doesn't really have that. She may be TRYING to get a partnership, but I doubt that she actually has any.
I saw a description yesterday on "the influencer game". Basically in order to move up the ladder, users with less of a presence (see our dear Eleanor) will make posts for free and tag the resturant/bag company/makeup brand, etc. Done consistently enough, and with a good reputation, high number of followers, and jive between company and influencer, and you can see some partnerships being made or items being gifted.
I doubt this will happen with any high level companies that Elle is trying to hook. We've seen some of her partnerships before: small gifts from a skincare or makeup company right before Joe dumped her in Vancouver, thred-up or something similar during her time with Rick in Florida, and what else? I can't think of many There may be one other, but 1. Elle's character is not something that a luxury brand would want to hook their wagon to, 2. She doesn't have the number of followers that a big company would be looking for, and 3. She's got too much negative press surrounding her. She may catch a small fish here and there (I could see a $50 dinner gift card), but I don't see LV, etc partnering up with her.
My Hawaii friend had nothing but bad things to say about Wolfgang LOL.She's not, but she also reused the same picture of Wolfgang's Steakhouse in today's stories. The one from 2 days ago is first, today's is on the right/bottom.

My Hawaii friend had nothing but bad things to say about Wolfgang LOL.
"The entry smells like mildew and made me gag non-stop to the point of rushing to the restroom and throwing up."
"Treated caucasians better than locals and asian tourists."
"I can make better food at home. Bad fries with dry and not very flavorful meat for a steakhouse."
"Outdated decor, not given enough utensils for my table, there was a stain on the tablecloth, and tableware wasn't clean."
"I was seated on a folding table and it FELL and hit me."
To Elle's credit, they said that the katsu place is up to par with Japan. I've never heard Elle mentioning that she's been to Japan so I don't know how she could make the comparison.
I also took a look at the IG comment about wanting to meet Elle at the Kahala. The person who commented works there and probably wants her to visit to get tipped.
Great minds think alike! The best she's had OUTSIDE of Japan. Does this mean she's been to Japan?! Or is this just her being her full of it self? Also if she has been to Japan it hasn't been in a long time bc surely she'd have bragged about that. So how can she even make a fair comparison?
Sorry I just noticed you said the same thing LOL
Thank you for these other sponsors. I agree, I think most of Elle's posts these days are her idea of a flex. Though I wouldn't put it past her to try for a sponsorship againShe was also "kindly compensated for her time" (AKA sponsored) by ScotchGuard for a fabric spray and GlassesUSA for cheap sunglasses. Didn't she "work" in Hong Kong or whatever? She might have gone to Japan then.
Curious about her licking her fingers and knives at restaurants, too, and, would not be surprised. I mean, she does it on camera, so it seems she’s not aware of how disgusting it is? And her mother did the same thing at the table at home!I'm sure she'd tell the world at least every second video/Instagram post that she's been to Japan. So I'm 100% certain she has never been to Japan. In fact, for someone coming from a middle class background who claims to be so KuLtUrEd, she's not well-travelled at all. She's been to HK with mummy and Thailand with the English troll. Never went anywhere abroad with Joe. Might know US hick towns well, thanks to Rick and his dispersed family...
'Luxe brunch', what a cringe. It is such a tacky thing to say. She has no class whatsoever. Also, eggs Benedict are So Last Season, Smelle . Wonder if she also licks her fingers and knives at restaurant tables, just how she does in her cooking vids. Because I don't think there's any doubt she does her lip smacking and loud chewing in public.
I would imagine she licks a lot of things on a dinner date (utensils, lips, fingers) to get her date thinking of her in a sensual way. Maybe it worked when she looked 28 but now that she looks 45 it's gotta be a sight to see.Curious about her licking her fingers and knives at restaurants, too, and, would not be surprised. She is so trashy. Lip smacking and loud chewing, and calling it luxe brunch? So gross. I bet she chews with her mouth open too. And I can’t believe she’s in her 30s! You’d think that she’d have some common sense at this age and know that it’s not good to behave like an idiot but that’s clearly lost on Smelle.I'm sure she'd tell the world at least every second video/Instagram post that she's been to Japan. Whoever or whatever has been bankrolling her for most of her life has made it so she didn't really have to grow up. Guess it shouldn't be surprising that she has not.She is so trashy. It’s just such poor manners. Even as a child I was taught to not chew loudly or smack my lips, and why would you tell people you’re having a luxe lunch? So tacky and completely tone deaf, especially given that she’s traveling for leisure during a global pandemic, dining out, and many people are struggling to pay bills.Whoever or whatever has been bankrolling her for most of her life has made it so she didn't really have to grow up.
