Have they only just realised that she can't act ?

And where is Frankie supposed to be at the moment? We haven't seen her in ages.... did she go on a prison visit?

They weren’t the best character or actor but there’s going to be no one left on the square at this rate! I hope they’re planning on bringing some new characters in at some point.


Just seen a clip of Chelsea and Grey from tonight’s episode, it’s like Mac and Mia have disappeared off the face of the earth since the baby was born. Kids on Eastenders always give their parents such a wide berth, you never see them coming to interrupt a conversation to ask what’s for dinner or where their toy is, they never kick off, siblings never squabble etc. It’s so unrealistic, mine don’t leave me alone for five minutes!

I’ve noticed this maybe the kids have gone on the run I wouldn’t say I blame them to be honest, they have the wonderful Beige as their dad 🧐

😆 I suppose it wouldn’t really flow and would be annoying to watch if they made the kids act how kids genuinely act in real life, but they’ve swung too far the other way. Every time there’s a scene at a house with children in it they’re always ‘upstairs’ which is really convenient. Some of those houses must have massive bedrooms.

I agree it wouldn’t if they got the children act how they would act in real life. I’ve noticed they are always upstairs or you get one scene where they are in the front room for a minute, then get told to go upstairs. For example I don’t think there is ever a scene where Albie isn’t always in his buggy. Most them houses would have massive bedrooms maybe one or two of them.

They're bringing back old characters as well. Personally, I think there are too many characters doing nothing. She literally had one storyline for her whole time on the show, which was dumb. We need something big to happen.

The whole FGM story was really badly written. It's like they started it, then didn't know where to go with it afterwards.
I suspect that they backed off because they didn't want to be accused of racism or critising other cultures.

It was resolved far too quickly and then Mila wasn't able to progress into being a more rounded character.

The FGM story was so awfully researched and written really did nothing to raise awareness
