I think it was a bad ending to the DV story. It was more of an accident and then the non-actions of Gray going for some milk that killed her.

I think it would have been so much more powerful if Gray had killed her deliberately in a rage.

And now Gray is a serial killer coz the writer's are morons.

i’ve always wondered if that was how she was supposed to die or if they did it all differently because of the heavy covid restrictions at that time. i agree that it somehow took the blame away from gray by making it an accident.

it was an incredible episode though (the part where she sees mitch is phoning her :( ) and i, like everyone else here from the looks of it, hate that it’s been diluted by what they did with gray afterwards. chantelle has almost become forgotten in this storyline about whitney. and i HATE that whitney has all this information but, for some reason, hasn’t told mitch and karen.

I think you might be right on the way it was scripted due to Covid. DV incidences increased by 400% during lockdown and it was meant to highlight the grave circumstances for victims but was rushed and hushed and lost all of its merit. Toby-Alexander Smith even became an ambassador for Women’s Aid because he felt such responsibility to the storyline (I know, like he isn’t 🥵 enough)! But now it’s just another EE serial killer. The only way they could redeem it now is if he starts abusing Chelsea. Those messages Whitney found could open an investigation. And what about the kids, they would be witnesses to the abuse too. I would have gone to the police if I’d found them or like you say definitely would have shown Mitch! 🤷🏼‍♀️
 
Genuine question, the gang who attacked Ben, Eve, Iqra etc.....How did they know what their sexualities were just from walking past them? They immediately shouted "queers".

Am confused about this silly dog story.
Most houses in the square like Phil's have TARDIS like qualities sprouting extra bedrooms.

Karen's place is the opposite 😶 Bernie has buggered off abroad to see Keanu and the younger boys went to live with their dad. So currently only Keegan and Bailey are living with them but Mitch is being hounded by a dog? 😄 the dog should kip with Bailey and Mitch can have Bernie's room 🤔

This seems a very strange way to get Karen and Mitch together.

There is no way that that tiny flat has 3 bedrooms. It used to be Ian and Cindy’s and had one bedroom!

The younger boys used to have room in the attic so who's up there now? I guess possibly Keegan. Bernie had a room of her own because we've seen it and we've also seen that Bailey has a room of her own. We've never seen Karen's room but she must have one.

It's all very confusing but there's less people living there now than when the family first arrived in the square.

Phil will never go to prison, there will be riots if that happens 😂mind you, they’ve ruined the programme enough so why not make it worse🤣
