I think if Phil was being written out they’d make a much bigger thing out of it.

I reckon he’ll be out in a month or so and then there will be a big revenge storyline against Jack, London’s only detective.

I must say when Richie came back it didn’t look like she’d been away on holiday, to Spain or wherever she went surly she would have a tan.

I think Phil will be away for maybe a month or 3 months tops.

I love him despite his despicable ways because he's entertaining and much prefer the baddies in EE.

It's refreshing that this thread isn't full of people moralising and we can have a laugh at the ridiculousness of it all.

same - i think i’ve sort of lost track of this storyline in general though! it is, as someone said upthread, all engineered for steve mcfadden’s standard christmas leave though so maybe it’s not meant to make sense

of all the things odd about the writing in ee at the moment the lack of aftermath to anything is really getting to me. what even happened to callum last night? did ben walk off and leave him in the hospital?! why have that whole attack scene and then spend most of the next episode on mitch?

He asked Aiden to get rid of Vincent for him but meant to 'warn him off' rather than kill him. Aiden's goons apparently then went too far and murdered him.

i love pam so this makes me happy!

however has this show forgotten that callum had a (week long) ptsd storyline a while back? wouldn’t he be struggling too? the show has no clue what to do with callum in general though, i’d include him in that phil rampage that @Lucia mentioned upthread

Denise said she’s seen footage and presumably dectetive no mark has too in order to go to his gov’ner and get charges. From what I remember it incriminates Phil in kidnap and assault, but not murder.
