god i hope so! ballum are at the end of the road tbh, they’ve made them so dull, though i’ll be annoyed if it’s ben who calls time on it considering how poorly he’s treated callum since they got engaged, let alone married
 
Keanu and Karen were both very irritating tonight. Why couldn’t Karen just say he had taken Albie out? And why did Keanu think it was ok to get a three year olds ear pierced? Maybe Karen can get trapped in the cafe fire, Keanu runs in to rescue her, and they both die.

Is there any couple on EE who have stayed consistently together for years? You know, like people often do in real life.
Suki/Nish have been married the longest, but he spent 20 years of it in prison and she loves someone else.
Billy/Honey have two teenage children and are currently together. But they’ve had several break ups and other long term partners.
Apart from those two couples, everyone else has either just got back with an ex (Ian/Cindy, Patrick/Yolanda) or have only been together a few years.
I do think this is something missing from the programme, one or two long term couples (10/15 plus years) who actually stay together. Instead of everyone being on a relationship merry go round.
The closest there has been in recent years was Mick and Linda, but that soon got messed up.

Pauline and Arthur? There’s a few but you have to go way back.

I agree it’s silly. In real life at least half of couples would stay together long term. You can still have plenty of interesting stories around them without another round of breaking them up and getting them back together.

Yes, I'm just thinking back to the heyday of Corrie for example where there were the likes of Jack and Vera, and Stan and Hilda. Long term marriages, so many storylines came from the ups and downs of their lives. Human nature stuff.

they almost had it with mick and linda imo but of course they had to ruin it. it was nice to see a together since they were kids husband and wife partnership doing their best - but they just couldn’t let it be drama-free.
 
Ugh Karen and Canoe were ghastly twats tonight.
😄 Piercing a 3 year olds ear! Canoe has lost his mind and will soon lose any access rights to Albie at this rate 😀

Rocky's gambling addiction is really irritating too. Kathy is dumb as a rock to trust the useless grifter. She should have taken that money to pay into the bank herself instead of trusting him. Mind you it's her fault that they're down by £50,000 anyway. They are a pair of fools and Rocky can't leave soon enough for me because I'm sick of him.

Despite the honourable mentions above the award for most annoying tonight goes to PC Halfwit for phoning the drug squad and ensuring that Jay got arrested 🙄🙄

I know Ben isn't the most ideal parent but callum really needs to tell him. It's the fact the police turned up at the most convenient time to witness everything. The fact they just linked arms with him and marched him off 😆 I can't believe keanu got albies ear pierced as revenge for Sharon going on a "date" I'm so sick of him now!

Keanu, Bernie, Mia, Mack and Mitch that’s it I think. I think the writers have completely given up with them, I’m honestly surprised they didn’t axe the entire family.
