I think Phil gave him it out of guilt for killing his Dad (who wasn’t actually the guy who Jay thought was his Dad 🤷🏻‍♀️).
But then Jay sold the land to that Wilmot Brown guy. Don’t know how he got it back 😂

Edit to add: turns out it was the car lot he sold and not the land. Max reopened the car lot but then Jay turfed him out as the land belonged to him… what would we do without google 😂

The Wilmot Brown thing got so ridiculous I don’t even remember how it ended. They were going to buy the entire square and turn it into flats or something with Max’s help and then they weren’t. And Bonnie Langford got humiliated in a pub.

Nobody worry about telling me how it ended BTW, I’m not sure I can even be bothered to read about it.

That was a superb piece of acting when she crumpled as he was being taken away by the police.
The realisation that this person she had trusted implicitly had done such a terrible terrible thing. Murdered her daughter.

She was fantastic in that storyline.
