The new one on Netflix about the hotel Cecil is crazy

I've stayed there when it was Stay on Main, four times actually 😂 Didn't notice a single weird thing but the final time my friend stayed too and immediately decided something didn't feel right. We waited until we left to Google it just in case and found out about the Elisa Lam case, although once you've seen the resolution it's not it's not as strange as they want you to think!

I’m still not convinced the conclusion was what actually happened but guess we’ll never know

It all seemed to fit to me, it's what seemed logical from the very start of the story so I was expecting it to be debunked before the end to prove there was something weird about the place. I don't think it needed 4 episodes unless they were going to go more into the detail of the other cases of serial killers/weird happenings.

But my name is in the credits because they used a photo from one of my trips 😂 when I signed the release I didn't expect it to be a proper Netflix doc, I thought it would be on the California Murder Network or something else really niche!

I agree, there was a totally logical explanation behind it! It should have been 2 episodes max! What pissed me off was the weirdo internet sleuths 🥴🥴

I’ve been enjoying The Real CSI on BBC Channel 2. It’s based in the West Midlands which is my local area.
It gives you are deeper insight into what happens when evidence goes through the lab and DNA profiling etc. Anybody else been watching it?
Yes! This is so interesting. When they were looking at the case of the man who murdered his wife and they could tell from the blood splatter, what motion he was using with the knife, just from looking at blood on a wall!

I thought Hotel Cecil was the biggest waste of my time - could have been covered in an hour.
The whole way through I was convinced it was something to do with her mental health, but the only thing bugging me was that they said the door of the tank was shut and that there would have been no way to do that herself.

And then in the last episode they said someone had made a mistake and it was open 🙄

It felt like they left so many details out to try and make it a weird “what the duck happened” story when actually with all the facts it was obvious. I didn’t like the web sleuths either, some of them came across weird and obsessive with almost no regard to the fact she had a grieving family. Especially with what they did to the guy they accused too.

“Tell Me Who I Am” - it’s about twin brothers.
One loses his memory so relies on his twin to fill in the blanks.
The twin doesn’t disclose all the bad things that had happened to them in order to protect his brother but when the memory loss twin discovers what really happened he thinks his brother was wrong to hide it from him.
It’s hard to explain without spoiling it.

I watched the one without knowing much about it. Really sad for both brothers
